Tufts University Top Questions

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

Sam

The thing I brag about the most is how incredibly kind and friendly the people at Tufts are. People consistently go out of their way to meet new people and make new friends, which I have recently realized is not something that happens at every school. I really appreciate this aspect of Tufts, because this friendly atmosphere has allowed me to meet so many incredible people. Whether you're meeting someone through a mutual friend, or because you're in the same Spanish class, people are always excited to meet someone new, and greet you with a big, friendly smile.

Everybody here is so happy to be here! Also, I love the setting. Tufts has a campus, is surrounded by the cutest town, and is just a few minutes away from Harvard Square and Boston Proper. There is so much to do in Boston, but you never really have to leave the campus.

Jake

How close I am to the city, how great the location is, and how much there is to do right off campus.

Dante

I brag most about the community, how it is so very diverse and yet so very accepting as well. I brag about the location being so close to Boston which is a great college town, yet also far enough and isolated enough to still have a distinct campus and local feel. I tell people how intermingled the community is and that even though I am an engineer I have friends in all other parts of the school: theater and english majors, biologists and pre-med students; about how I get to experience and connect with so many different people.

Terri

I usually tell me friends about how caring the professors are and how much they help with connections (with internships, etc) and advice.

Kevin

When I tell my friends about Tufts, I always brag about the size of my dorm room and how nice it is. Also, I'm happy about obtaining an on-campus work-study job that helps maintain m pocket money. In addition, I'm excited about my minor: Entrepreneurial Leadership. I've never heard of anyone else with that minor, and I'm excited to learn more about the field.

bobby

That I go to a great school with a sick track team, good food compared to colleges, very close to an incredible city and that I will have a high paying job right out of school as an engineer.
