I was very involved in the school's community service culture. Tusculum is a civc arts school, meaning it focuses on civic engagement and community service. Through my service work there, I traveled internationally 3 times and traveled to numerous states all over the country working in both inner-city and rural environments. All students must take a service learning course where you go work in a community - including international destinations. There is virtually no dating scene to speak of. Many people maintain LDRs with their significants from home. Greeneville is a sleepy town. There's some good night life in the next town over, but it's not great. Most students stay on campus, as campus isn't that close to town.
