Tuskegee U is a great school academically. We need better housing and we need better food. We are in the middle of nowhere but we make do. I love my school. I wouldn’t want to attend another HBCU at all. Tuskegee faculty members can do a better job at teaching but academics is a big deal on campus. You have to very smart and participate regularly.

I absolutely love this school, as of right now I will be on upcoming freshman. Just be touring the campus and attending events for the freshman, I fell in love with the environment and my surroundings. I truly could not feel any more welcome, and I have fell in love with this entire school.

Darrielle - 02/16/2022

Tuskegee is a great school that challenges students to be academically, and socially excellent. Although the school is not in an especially large or modern area, there's tons of room for growth in the city and the student body. I wouldn't choose to attend anywhere else, because my experience has been phenomenal. The people and experiences you have are the largest takeaway from my personal experience.

Tuskegee University FAQS

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at Tuskegee University?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Tuskegee University is 49%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

College is an experience like no other. It is your time in life to make a statement about not only who you are but who you want to become. It is a once in a life time chance, so make every moment last. With that being said, it is important to remember why you are there. The college you chose after a careful elimination process is the one you will be with for the next four or maybe five years and graduate with a Chemical Engineering degree. You will encounter people and situations that you have never experienced before. The only advice I can give is to be smart, and think twice about every move you make. The parties and the boys will always be there but the deadline for that term paper is Monday! No one said that school would be easy but it will be fun. New doors will open up to you and you need to know which ones to close and which ones to embrace the journey that lies ahead. More than anything always put your best foot forward because it is a great feeling of accomplishment to see your hard work pay off.
