This school is for non-traditional students. A lot of my fellow classmates, at the time, were in their 40's with children so it was hard for me to "fit in" at times, but I still graduated!!

The University of Alaska is a general school for Undergrad programs. It's for the kind of person who wants a basic BA degree, or who wants to use the school's programs as a basic starting off point for a degree larger than a 4-year.

Anybody can attend the University of Alaska. The student body is very diverse with a wide range of ethnic groups and age groups. The classes tend to be on a small scale which gives the instrusturs more time for one on one interaction for a great learning experience.

Anyone is a perfect fit for UAA. They have a wide selection of degree programs and Alaska is a very diverse state. I believe that anyone that wants to work towards their future career would be happy with UAA.

The University of Alaska Anchorage has such a wide variety of degrees and programs, it is impossible to list them here. Besides all these academic choices, a UAA student should be someone who loves the outdoors. The campus is beautiful, as is Anchorage and the surrounding area. One additional, unique requirement is that students here must be prepared for very long winters. There are indoor walkways between most buildings but not all. Winter should be considered an opportunity to enjoy nature and winter sports.

Hardworking students who have a strong desire to learn and participate in class activities should attend this school. They should be attentive and act their age. They should enjoy their classes to the fullest.

Anybody can attend this school that is qualified too. There shouldn't be a question to ask the kind of person. School is for anyone that is willing and able to do it and pursue thier degree or certificate.

A person who is sincere,hardworking and determined to do well in whatever degree he is pursuing should attend this school. He should be well aware of all the responsibilities he needs to fullfill as a student. I think the kind of person that should attend this school is someone that can focus and wants to get done in a short amount of time. Since this is a fast paced school people have to make time to study and focus on school and homework. This school is a place for people to focus and get done with school in a short amount of time.

The kind of person who should attend this school is someone who loves the outdoors. Anchorage is lovely city but if you do not like the outdoors then it is definitely not the place for you. On the walk to campus or even the drive you will most certainly see wildlife even if it is just a moose crossing the road and the most entertaining things to do in Anchorage are centered around the outdoors.

A person who is motivated and eager to get a great education and a fantastic college experiance.

Anyone seeking a close , intensive enviroment where noone is left behind due to the relatively small class sizes.

All types of people are welcome at this school, but I definitely believe that it benefits those who are looking for a smaller and more personal college experience. For instance, there is a 14:1 ratio of students to professors. I believe this makes for a more personable learning environment.

Students with the motivation to do not only the work assigned but also spend their own time digging into relevant topics will get the most of their UAA education.

Any enthursiastic person that wants to strive to better themselves in a certain field of study while forming life-long friendships and career connections should attend the University of Alaska Anchorage.

The type of person that should attend this school should be someone who wants to participate in a education program that provides structure and room for advancement.

Its an awesome school for younger students living at home, students who don't party and aren't interested in the social aspects of a school, and for older students who also have jobs and/or families.
