Describe the students at your school.

My classmate at very helpful and engaging with the courses. They are very outgoing and have posititve outlooks on the future and the present. And they often party but study harder as they enjoy their down time but take school very seriously.

In well-praised lectures with the best professor for the course, students are engaged with the lecture material. They are well focused in class and love group work/ studying. However, in other courses where the professors are rated fair to horrible, students tend to not give a dam about the course in general. People would be facebooking, watching youtube videos, and sometimes even game during lecture. Its a sad world to see that this happens mostly with the younger classmates of mine.

It is usually easy to find someone who you have something in common with. A majoreity of my classmates will have the same major, or similar interest. Classmates are always willing to help eachother out, and to work together on tough concepts. Never have I encountered someone who was rude, or that wasn't willing to help. My classmates help build a conducive enviornment where I feel comfortable learning.

The UA is a very diverse campus. We have students of all races, religious backgrounds, gender, etc. We also have a great amount of international students. There is something for everyone to be a part of, whether you're Christian or support the LGBT community, or love politics, there is a group for you. We also have a lot of students from California. Everyone is unique and are free to express their opinions or their own styles. Our student government really tries to keep students aware of critical issues on campus and in the community. There are a lot of resources on campus for students to get information from.

The University of Arizona is extremely diverse. I was blown away with the uniqueness of everyone on campus. I know several people in every class, nationality, sexual orientation and religious belief. And there are multiple clubs and groups for each classification. There is a way for every single student to feel connected. And people of all backgrounds interact with each other frequently and build friendships. Most of the students seem to be from Arizona and thus there is a large white and a large latino population. There is also a growing asian population on campus. Most students tend to be from the middle class and have a slightly liberal political view.

There are so many different types of students at the University of Arizona, and I've never seen students not getting along. We're all here for the same reason- to learn and have a college experience.

Oh la la! The students at the University of Arizona are amazing! Of course, you have many students who come for a year or two, they may choose a major or not, and then they eventually drop out. But, you also have an eclectic mix of students the University. We have a large Sorority and Fraternity presence, as well as student athletes, but if you take a second glance, you'll start to notice the differences - the hipsters, the artists, the media arts students (maybe?). The point is that anyone can find a place at the University of Arizona. We aren't necessarily considered a 'hippy' University, like Northern Arizona University, but it's still good to come with an open mind - you may just like what you find!
