We are best known for the diversity avaiable on campus. There are so many clubs, events and things to do that there is never a dull moment.

It is bst known for its Nursing programs and Law programs along with its school spirit.

Research! This school has a number of active research projects including many NASA affiliated ones. This university the primary university working on the OSIRIS-REx asteroid sample return mission and also is conducting ongoing research with the Cassini and Messenger probes. Our campus has one of the largest mirror labs which is currently working on the largest mirror ever produced for the Giant Magellen Telescope. I work part-time with the HiRISE team who manages data from the highest resolution camera aboard the Mars Recconaissance Orbiter.

I think UA is beset known for their medical program and greek life. Sports and extracuricular clubs are great, but the amount of people in greek life is huge compared to the rest. Also, I've heard students coming from all over the nation, just to be a part of UA greek life. UA also offeres a ton of diverse majors, but I think the medical program draws in a large percentage of students. This is most likely due to the University Medical Center, but UA also has a strong emphasis on science courses.

My school is best known for its beautiful campus and extremely focused students. It's also well known for its athletic teams and its scientific research facilities.

The football games are really fun. Homecoming is definitely the biggest and most visible tradition. We burn the opposing team's mascot, and there is a week-long series of events during Homecoming week. All the clubs come out, and it's a lot of fun. There aren't a lot of centuries-old traditions. Running of the bulls is a Greek-life event, which some people get into. Homecoming was really fun for Chain Gang Junior Honorary, but other than that, there aren't a whole lot of campus-wide traditions. However, everyone does love the Wildcats.

Due to the large number of students that make up the university there is always something to do and a good person to do it with. It also has a large variety of programs to accomodate most interests. My school is best know for its Agricultural programs and its Medical programs.

The University of Arizona has made massive inroads in the fields of medical/biomedical research. We have one of the leading hospitals in the nation for many areas of the medical field, most notably, cancer research. However, the reason I personally chose the University of Arizona is because we have an outstanding veterinary college which thoroughly prepares students, especially large animal veterinary medicine seeking, to enter vet schools around the world.

My school is best known for having the second largest Student Union Memorial Center in the country. It is four stories high, with an endless variety of restaurants to chose from, students can go to the T.V. launge and relax, they can go to the game room, or the movie theather inside the Student Union. There are also plenty of launges and study rooms where UA students can go and study, do some homework, or use the internet.

The University of Arizona is probably best known for the Pre-med programs it offers to prospective doctors, researchers, biologists, etc... The program is really not competitive, but the University ensures that classes are taught in the most difficult way to learn something, even is the concept is basic, so that the student is able to remember in the long-run. While this may sound terrible, the serving purpose in the prerequisite courses is to effectively "weed-out" students who are not a serious about the career. While not as heavily practiced, the technique is common in other majors.

My school, the University of Arizona is well known for its astronomy program. While I was a senior in high school, I took astronomy. My teacher and I where discussing what college I was going to, and began to tell me how amazing the program was here! It got me very excited to become a Arizona Wildcat! In my opinion, this school should be well known for everything it has to offer, because it's a fantastic school.

They have a well respected academic system for a public university, the best in Arizona. There is a wide range of majors to choose from and fantastic graduate programs.

Probably best known for being a party school, because the campus centeres around greek life. I am not in a sorority myself, but this is a focus at the university. However, do not let this deter you from attending. There are a lot of things to get involved with that AREN'T sororities or fraternities.

The Stadium at the University of Arizona is called, Bear Down. It's our school anthem as well. Bear Down means do whatever it takes to succeed. It is very similar to the famous phrase, "When the going gets tough, the tough get going." Bear Down t shirts are sold in the bookstore and hundreds of them can be seen on students everyday. Bear Down helps students remember to carry forth this attitude, not just academically, but for life in general. When obstacles come, "Bear Down" and overcome them. This part of the great legacy of the University of Arizona!

I would have to say that the University of Arizona is best known for their strong math and science departments. Most importantly, it is also well-known for their medical program, the University of Arizona College of Medicine. It is also known for its research and many on-campus libraries. Not only that, but there is also the athletic department, such as football and basketball, and many of the clubs and organizations, including many of the sororities and fraternities.

The University of Arizona based off of Tucson AZ, is known for its extensive research in varies fields. It’s known for its outstanding University medical center and basketball program. Recently the University made a major investment in its recreational facility to make it more energy efficient. Though this are what the university of Arizona presents as its best qualities as a student I personally feel that the vast diversity of cultures and religions/ethnic back grounds is what makes the university of Arizona an exceptional place for higher education.

As we all know the University of Arizona is known for a lot of things. One of those things is being the home of the one and only Wilbur Wildcat. This school, located in Southern Arizona has a lot to offer. Beautiful hot weather nearly year around, amazing school spirit and one of the most stunning campuses located in the Wild West. And don't forget about academics! UofA has one of the best medical schools in the nation. Dine College is best known for being the first Native American tribally controlled and operated community college in the United States. It is also known for it's low tuition and for it's credit transferrability to local universities and colleges. The instructor to student ratio is ideal and advantagous for all students. The Navajo culture is present and incorporated into the philosophy of the school statement. Navajo culture and language degrees are offered as well as other disciplines.

At our school we are best known for education am pretty sure were number one compared to other Universities of Arizona. I can see why we are best known for our education the amount of assignments they give us is like someone handing you a bag of bricks its overwhelming. The University of Arizona is best known for our basketball program. Though I, myself, am not particularly knowledgeable about basketball, it is a very well-known program that attracts a significant amount of national and international attention. Many players from the U of A Basketball program are recruited to the NBA during or following their undergraduate education. Additionally, the U of A is known for its innovation in medicine and science. Recently, the University of Arizona Medical center received attention for saving Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords after she was shot in the head.
