The best thing about the U of A is the high quality of the resources available in so many fields. Many of our departments are renowned for their research or progress in a wide variety of areas. From Linguistics to Astronomy, the professors are experienced, enthusiastic, friendly, and often well-known.

The best thing in the University of Arizona is how safe it is. I’m an Architecture student and I stay at school till late at night. But the security of the building allows me, a 21 year old woman to stay at school safe and study. This is very important point about the University that I love.

The best thing about The University of Arizona is that there is always someone willing to help or give any advice when you are confused or need help about classes or registration. I am a transfer student from Pima Community College and i found the transition to be fairly easy thanks to the help of all of the facutly and advisors who always had their doors open.

Personally I believe the best thing about the University of Arizona is hands down the campus. It is truly an oasis in the middle of this desert, and it has everything any student could ever need. I have toured several college campuses in different parts of the country but this one is clearly a head above the rest.

I don't know how to choose what the best thing is about my school. Between the beautiful campus, the exciting football and basketball games I think what I love the most are the classes and the professors that teach them. All of the courses that I have taken have been extremely interesting and the professors are all passionate about what they are teaching.

The best thing about our school is the pride all around the campus. The professors take pride in their students developing educatoin and the students take pride in their school work and sports teams. Walking around campus you see 90 year olds in UofA gear, and infants in UofA gear; young or old, everyone is proud to represent the best school ever-University of Arizona.

I will say that the best thing about your school is the great weather, campus and great teachers that make our life in campus easy. The school has great community events and is very involved in the community. The clubs and greek organizations here are always trying to help others and make this campus a better place.

The best thing about UofA is the opportunities. If you look, you'll find it. There is a lot of financial aid available, career fairs, amazing gym programs and classes to get in shape, free tutoring, free "SafeRide" (something that will drive you around campus for free if you feel unsafe or you're drunk, whatever), internships, clubs, study abroad, and a ton of classes that you wouldn't even imagine that you can take that will be interesting (I once took "Eroticism and Love in the Middle Ages"). There is so much available to students.

The best thing about the U of A is the Honors dorm and community at Arbol de la Vida. All of the students are dedicated to working hard, and it is easy to make friends, find people to study with, and become very involved.

In my opinion, the best thing about the University of Arizona is the class options and choices that are available. All undergraduates must complete certain requirements, but the classes available to fulfill these requirements are nearly endless. This gives every student the opportunity to explore different topics and subjects that may have not otherwise been considered, while catering to a variety of interests and curiosities.

Coming from a Charter school came into an adult world. Our professors and tutors are helpful, classmates we have a well shown diversity. Classrooms are good sizes to have class discussions. The environment makes one feel as they are home as soon as a foot has been set on ground. Everything needed is here on campus. The freedom and comfort is the number one thing I found I loved about this school because everything has to be completed but at your own pace. Last the school spirit here is fenominal.

The University of Arizona is a community filled environment where people don't mind giving you a hand or showing the right direction. The professors are also very friendly and most of them go out of their way to help you not only pass their class, but also understand it. Therefore, the best thing about my school is the social atmosphere that creates long lasting relationships between students and professors which in turn carries on to help with future careers.

The best thing about my school is how motivated the academic advisors are, they assist you with any help you need regarding classes, making it easier for you to learn about the classes you need and how fast you can complete degree.

The best thing about the University of Arizona is that it feelt like a school environment: a place where you feel invited to study and you actually want to study, but at the same time there is also a feeling of fun and a time to hang out with friends. And of course, the size of the campus allows you to really explore new places and try new things.

I think my Musical Theatre program is the best thing about my school. It's competitive and I am learning so much and am thankful to have been accepted into such a great program!

One of the best things about my school is that is it one of best schools for my major. But, it is also a good school with many research projects that many students can get involved with. My major is Astronomy and there is a lot of Planetary Science projects and Astronomy projects that we, the students, can get involved with, as long as they are aware of it.

I would definitely consider the professors to be the best thing about the school. They are really engaging and very easy to get in touch with. Although it is a large school I truly believe the professors try there best to give individual students as much attention as possible.

School spirit binds everyone together. No matter who you are or where you're from, participating in events like homecoming or tailgating before football games gives all students a chance to get involved, to socialize, and to discover their own place within the campus community.

As a leading research institution, there are classes with groundbreaking scientists and thinkers in a diverse set of fields. Whether you are a student in chemistry or fine arts, you have the ability to take courses with people who have won the highest accolades in their fields - everything from psychology to ecology to political science. Even if it is only a general education requirement or an elective, the opportunity to study with distinguished researches is amazing.

The best thing about U of A is the small community feel on large campus. I absolutely love the school spirit and the opportunities available. There is always something to do, new people to meet, and new experiences always awaiting you. The resources are incredible and I am so glad I have had the opportunity to live on campus and adjust to living on my own. I just love that the town is all about Wildcat Country. Bear Down!

University of Arizona is a big university but you can still get individual attention from your professors and they are really good about making time to talk with you and help you outside of class. I think that the level of education all across the campus is really amazing because it is a level 1 research facility and they recieve many grants for research that has made a huge impact on Arizona and the world.

The professors are the best!

The professionalism and knowledge of the TAs (teaching assistants). I've learned more from some graduate student-led sections than from lectures by professors!

The culture is my favorite aspect of my school. I feel inspired to succeed in more ways than only academics here. UA makes me want to be a better person.

How fun it is if you don't like to party though don't come here because that's all most people do for fun.

Considering the fact that I originally started at a community college, I enjoy the fact that UofA has a wider range of degree programs and a bigger class catalogue. It's nice to know that I have many options, both for my Major and my Minor.

The best things about the University of Arizona have to be its variety, both academically and in extracurricular activities. The University of Arizona provides many majors that one can choose from. This is one of the best things because it gives you the opportunity to learn about almost anything, and the opportunity to learn what you’re really interested in. I also like how the university provides many organizations, sports, and activities that anyone can participate in. The people at UoA are very friendly along with most Professors. I love dorm life but some of the rules and RA's are a bit strict.

I consider the Think Tank among one of the best resources my school has to offer. It is a tutoring service available to the students at the University of Arizona that is free for the most part, although it offers fee-based services as well. Knowing that the help is there in the event that I am struggling in a certain subject makes me feel safe, whether it is through Exam Prep sessions, study guides or just help reviewing the material.

The schools culture and beauty, both making for a comfortable enviroment to study and learn. Students have a great deal of school pride and the feeling of being a wildcat amoung others gives off a strong family vibe. Spoting events are especially prideful and a unique experience. The beauty of the school adds to the comfortable enviroment that makes studying with your wildcat family much more enjoyable. Time on campus is enjoyed and students often find themselves staying late on campus.

One of the things I admire about my school apart from its beautiful campus, are the small class sizes. With classes rangingf rom 20-25 students, I am able to get more one on one time with my professor. This allows me to ask specific questions and receive answers within a relatively short amount of time. It also gives me a chance to familiarize myself with new peers.

The immense amount of diversity is one of the most impressive things about the University of Arizona. The diversity alone is not what impresses me so, but the way in which each and every one of these people can work together to achieve what they do. Especially in the field of biology and medicine, the University of Arizona is a school that has achieved much. Although I barely a first year freshmen, I too hope to be able to achieve what many of these U of A researchers have been able to achieve.

This school is extremely diverse in all aspects. Ethnically, there is a large Latino population, but the school is also diverse in the students' socio-economic status, sexual orientation, race, religion, etc. Because of this, there is a lack of judgement between individuals. People are genuinely interested to find out who you really are, no matter the stereotypes you fit into.

The best thing about the UofA is the involvement in the dorms. Even though I don't live in a dorm, I am still included in the many outside activities that my friends' dorms take part in. It really makes me want to live on campus. I think the experience is priceless.

The Campus life is great plenty of Greek clubs.

The school spirit at the UA is the number one most amazing aspect. It doesn't matter if we are losing a football game, we still yell "UofA, UofA, UofA!!!!" and the spirit never ceases to exist. We are the Wildcats and the best of Arizona and the Pac 12!

The sence of community.

The quality of education is very good, as well as the research opportunities. I obtained a research position within my department, and I feel that I am learning more there than I do in a classroom. Most of the professors here are high quality as well.

I love all the different opportutnitiest that the UofA offered, I became an Officer in the Air Force cause of them:-)

The best aspect of the University of Arizona is the amount to interaction and exposure the students have to other majors, religions, ideas and lifestyles, just through the events held on a daily basis.

I think that the best thing about the school is the campus itself. I love the way that it is set up (so it's wasy to get to all of your classes). It is easy to walk to most of the buildings on campus, but if you can't get to one on time there are plenty of places to put bikes, and even shuttles that run to various points around campus. I also like that though we are in the desert, we have lots of trees on campus, and we're just a short drive from the mountains.

The best thing about the University of Arizona, in my opinion, is it's mix of old and new. I don't just mean the people-although I have had classes with middle aged and young people -it's in the buildings. Most people who grew up in Tucson just wanted to get away, but I couldn't resist the millions of red bricks that have been here since the school started, based on agriculture, in the 1800's. All you have to do is turn the corner and there are "new and improved" sections of the school.

I don’t think I can pick just one thing that is the best thing about my school because the school over all is awesome. The sports, the atmosphere of the campus and most all the teachers are helpful and resourceful in their topic are all great things about my school. There is always something to do when you attend the University of Arizona. If I had to pick the best thing about my school I would have to say the liveliness of the campus.

The University of Arizona offers a very diverse population of students. There is no major ethnic majority here and people come from all different walks of life. Myself, being a freshmen, has yet to explore all what the university has to offer, but my experiences here hold true value to me. As a member of the Blue Chip Organization at the University of Arizona, I believe this prestigious four year program gives the students at the UofA a chance to express their leadership ideas and roles to better the university. This in turn is what seperates the UofA among many.

I believe that the professors and the science department are the best things about the University of Arizona. I am a science major and all of the professors I have had, in science and non-science courses are very genuine and seem to care a lot about the success of their students. There are numerous resources offered to students to improve their understanding of the courses they teach as well as the fact that the create many flexible office hours in which to personally interact with the students.

The amount of prospective students and professional instructors helps the environment in which other students learn and discover hidden passions unforeseen. Engaging with professors from the industry not only improves the experience of the students academically but also “realistically.” Within the first few classes of their field of study, students can clearly understand what to expect from their prospective fields in the actual workforce. Students are forced to do internships and engage in hands-on activities and research for their field. The professors have endearing devotion to their class topics allowing students the maximum amplitude to learn.

Everything is really great here! They have classes for everyone-- the hard working students, the students who just want an A, etc. The social life and weather here are great too. Joining greek life ensures that you will have something to do every weekend :)
