The best thing about my school is the fact that it has a very active campus with many facilities to help the students.

Davis has something to offer to everyone. Whether it be oppurtunities to work closely with your professors in research, or the awesome music scene it offers, or just to get away on a hiking trip for the weekend, Davis has it. The people here are genuine and intelligent, and the atmosphere condones those qualities. The factuly is incredibly well-informed and able, and they provide top-notch education. A big plus is also the fact that it is a bike school. It makes life without a car much easier and provides a more green environment.

I liked that the school was located in a small town because it allowed me to stay focued on my homework and study for tests. The school is also economically friendly. Also, the school is very health conscious because almost everyone bikes or walks to campus.

If you want a school in a quiet town that still retains some semblance of "civilization", and has good resources and prestige, UCD is perhaps the best in the NorCal area, especially for Bio. The student body is very diverse, and there is always a way to answer almost any question. There's always something to do, but if the scene still doesn't suit you, UCD campus is not too far from Sacramento.

The best thing about my school, UC Davis, is the bicycle population. It is not uncommon for college campuses to utilize bikes, but it is unusual for bikes to over-power cars. At Davis, we pride ourselves on making our bikes the coolest, most attractive items we own. And since Davis is rather self-contained, a bike can travel anywhere you desire.

The campus is surrounded by nature and the students here are very welcoming. I know some people who turned down "better" UCs such as UCSD, UCLA, and Berkeley because they didn not get good vibes. Most people at Davis, Davis was not their first choice. However, after visiting the campus, most people chose to attend UC Davis. This is because of how friendly and involved the students are. The general vibe on the campus is excellent, and it is because of this feeling of accceptance that most people attend UC Davis.

I think the best thing about my school is the amount of resources. You have the Cultural Center, LGBTRC (Lesbian,gay,bi-sexual transgender center) the Student Recruitment and Retention center and also many other resources like tutoring and career search centers.

i think that if you apply yourself and your thoughts the person will learn a lot and there is a lot the school offers them.

The different hands on engineering clubs on campus. They offer alot of learning and provide students with great networking opportunities while having fun.

The calming atmosphere that is felt throughout the campus. You are free to walk around the many acres and let your thoughts wander, relieving any stress you might have from an exam or any other problems arising in your life. This is incredibly important because students are able to have an escape and way to calm themselves from anywhere on campus, and the various animal pens on the edges of campus provide the opportunity for studends to also interact with animals. Animals on campus tend to bring out the best in people, and thus can be benificial for academic relief.

It's a great place to be in terms of diversity regarding race/ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, political parties, socioeconomic status, etc. People more often than not tolerate these differences, so it's welcoming to everyone regardless of where they come from.

The best thing about UC Davis is the town, the student organizations and the friendly atmosphere. . I feel it is a very welcoming school that focuses on acadmic acheivement. There is something for everyone here. You can truly choose the type of college experience that ou want to have -- whther that be centered around acadmeics, career building activities, greek life, student government, parties, etc.

I love the campus; it's full of trees, squirrels and ducks. I still love going back to visit. Oh, and I can't forget Picnic Day! There are lots of activities on campus, and basically the whole college population gets wasted. Fun times.

It feels like a small community. We are very proud of going to school here. Its not a big sports school and very academically based.

The best thing would definitely be that everything is very accessible. The surrounding city is a small college town, so that everything seems close-knit and friendly.
