UCI is small but diverse, much easier going than UCLA for example, but still filled with very bright, creative students who have a myriad of interests from surfing at The Wedge in Newport Beach or screenwriting with Hollywood aspirations to biochemical research and political debate.

Univeristy of California, Irvine is a one of the top ten universities in state of California offering many opportunities for students to get ready for the real world.

Irvine was my dream school, and now that I attend, this menality stays the same; the environment, the people, the staff, everything is very clean, helpful and welcoming, Irvine gives off a vibe of "home".

UCI is best described as a tropical jungle where the combination of diverse cultures, intriuging interests, and exceptional explorations store students and their exotic natures, making it a tuly beautiful place to attend school.

UCI offers countless resources, and their professors have changed my life.

My school is a mecca of knowledge, not just for students, but for parents and other individuals who believe education will benefit as well as enrich the scope of their future; this appreciation is achieved through the physical layout of the campus, including the renowned Aldrich Park in the heart of the campus and the circular, connected roads radiating the feeling of community.

UCIrvine is boring as heck, but then that's Irvine for you.

Entertaining and academically-based.

It has become my home, except bigger.

At first, it's a little daunting becuase it's so big compared to high school, but after the first quarter, or even the first half quarter, everything will kind of just fall into place as if you've been attending this university all your life.

It's a nice place; beautiful campus in a relatively peaceful city, and for the most part the campus is very calm while the teachers seem to genuinely care about what they are giving to their students.

UC Irvine is academically, intellectually and personally challenging but it's also a place I will grow.

It has all the resources you need to pursue any career you want. So don't be lazy and USE them!

UC Irvine is a fairly serious school, that focuses mainly on school work, but also has many other activities such as theater, sports, and clubs.

It is a fun place to go to school, all of your peers and faculty do a good job pushing you to succeed and do well, while still encouraging you to go out and have a good time.

Weekends consists of people going home or studying for their Bio classes.

If you're in the scene, you know what goes down, but if you're not, you study quite a bit.

Overall, it is an absolutely great college that allows students to apsire to wonderful things, whether it be through academia, or clubs or even social events.

My school is fun, laid back and technologically saavy because everyone helps each other and our campus has a lot of great facilities.

UCI is a world opening experience that plugs you in, to all kinds of interests, causes, peoples and ideas that you may have never come across before; it is located in the heart of Orange County, which provides for access to good jobs, great night life (Hollywood is 45 minutes away), great beaches, and any amenities you could possibly need; UCI is a very technologically advanced campus with a diverse and engaging student culture that will provide an excellent college experience for anyone who attends.

UCI is a very academic focused school. There is not a lot of school spirit. If you want fun, I would suggest going out to the surrounging areas like costa mesa, huntington beach, or la. But if you are looking for a good school, you will get a great degree. just not a great social life.
