The small class sizes. The largest lecture hall we have seats about 360* people and the discussions only have about 20* people in them.
The internet in the dorm is very fast and usually stays up despite the amount of people using it concurrently.
The University of California Merced is in a very secluded area which allows students to focus primarily on academics. As a result of the school's location being on the outskirts of town, it provides safer enviroment for students.
I probably brag about how I get to attend this university that has so many opportunities avaialable. How the campus has many jobs available also that I am able to get to school and not have to worry about traffic.
What I brag about the most would be that UC Merced is that everything there is new so there is so many opportunities for current and prospective students, including founding their own organizations.
That it has small class sizes and room for students to get involved and start their own programs.
The school is very small compared to any other U.C. Our professors are very accessible to everyone and the small size makes for small classes where the professor can focus on each individually.
There is not sunny in our school and our school is very big.
That Michelle Obama was our keynote speaker and that the educational experience is so much different that what you would expect to get from an already developed university. This is a growing school with so many opportunities that you would not find on big campuses.
I brag the most about the location because although this is not a big city and surrounded by mostly rural area, it is only 2 hours away from San Francisco, only an hour from the beautiful eastern corrider of California, Yosemite. I grew up in the city my entire life so I appreciated the nature that UCMERCEd provides; even the campus is full of wildlife, where people most frequently see rabbits and raccoons but it is not uncommon to spot a Bobcat in the later evening. The environment provides me with a unique serenity to focus on my studies.
The ease of registering for classes by far surpassed that of all other University of California schools; graduating in 4 years or less was a distinct possibility at UC Merced.
I can focus 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} you get more than enough attention from faculty members very quiet, everything is brand new people are very, very nice
I love how its one-on-one interaction with teachers and students; small class sizes, friendly staff.
nothing
You can work with the professors and participate in research.
The class sizes are always small, lecture halls are probably 50 to 80 students in general, and smaller classes are around 15-25. Unlike other Universities, many college professors know students on a name basis, and are often available when needed by students. You can not find that in too many other large public university systems.
The space and small confortable classrooms it has.
Nothing really. There's not much to brag about.
The fellowship here is awesome. The class sizes as perfect. Professors are easily accesible. Facilities are over-all new, and beautiful. It's a short drive from Yosemite or the coast, and there's a cool lake to swim in that's minutes away from campus. It's far enough away to feel detached from home but close enough to easily get home and back in a day if necessary. The university has my major and professors doing research for the feild i want to get into after graduation. Not too many distraction to take away from school work.
