My classmates are extremely outgoing, open-minded, good humored, politically active, fun, intelligent, and physically active.
My classmates are generally intelligent students, but place an emphasis on socializing and having a good time.
they are outgoing, fun loving people who are dedicated to school as well as partying.
Everyone is for the most part very open-minded here. I like how my fellow classmates are tolerant of others' opinions and beliefs, and if they disagree, they do so respectfully.
they are fun, chill, and laidback
My classmates are very inteligent.
My classmates are active participants in class that are extremely fun, and surprisingly smart.

Pretentious, smart, and friendly.
Their personalities are very diverse.
Most people are really nice and open to your opinions, and most are easy going and fun to be around.
The students at UCSB love to spend their time in frivolity; I always like to say that everyone here knows how to work hard and play harder, though some would say, on a separate note, that the students here are the most intelligent idiots you'll ever meet.
fun loving outgoing and open minded
small, core group of exceptional students.
My classmates are smart, fun, friendly, outgoing, party people.
They work hard but play even harder.
My classmates get the reputation that they only know how to party, however, the students here work hard in and out of the classroom in order to succeed academically.
My classmates were mostly from middle-upper income to upper income homes, there is little racial diversity and the general attitude is one of apathy and arrogance exepting some
Fun, social, caring, intellectually and emotionally deep, driven, ambitious, creative.
Willing to talk to eachother but some had very definitive social groups.
Inquisitive, friendly, fun, and energetic.
Usually the underclassmen's classes are in lecture halls. So the classes contain over 100 students. Usually people walk in and sit down. Not much social interaction goes on during class, unless you have friends. In our discussion section though, is when we have the opportunity to talk amongst one another and get to know each other. It is there where study groups are formed and where you get to meet the people in your classes.
Friendly, on the same page, but not often helpful with study groups unless you make the effort, intelligent
Very laid back and fun which is great because there is not ulta competitive atmosphere.
My classmates are a very large group of young thinkers that like to live life and have fun, but have goals too.
My classmates are quite varied in their opinions and beliefs, but all seem to be very grounded people who know what it takes to succeed.

Second year Business-Economics major Jonathan dishes about his favorite movie (Snatch), favorite class taken at UCSB (Philosophy 4: Introduction to Ethics), and what he does with an hour of time to kill- beach time with friends, of course.
Fourth year Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major Heather discusses her favorite movie (Finding Nemo), favorite class taken at UCSB (Organic Chemistry Lab), and how she enjoys napping on campus in her free time.
The main heart of campus is constantly littered by poeple voicing their opinions. Stop wasting trees dammit and enough with the flyers!
-not insanely ethnically diverse -most people are friendly -many people are skinny and good-looking
I feel that most UCSB students are from some part of California. Girls dont usually get ready for class. We just throw on jeans and a shirt and go. I dont think anyone would feel out of place at UCSB unless they didnt try and reach out to a program of interest.
very relaxed, active in the community, dont have to go greek but its a plus
The student body is diverse and everyone can find a place. They are predominantly leaning to the left. Different types of students definitely interact.
everyone is accepted even though people have strongly different political views
everyone gets along
The student body is filled with different types of people, and that is what I love so much.
I could count on one hand the people I have met who are rude or dislike school. Seriously. People wear comfortable clothes to class--no one dresses up.
Most of the students from UCSB are from California. Many are very active in politics and are politically aware.
many caucasians not much greek, non greek interaction
everyone is awesome- very acepting
UCSB is very diverse, and there is a lot of interaction between different types of students.
I have witnessed a large variety of races and cultures throughout UCSB. There are also many clubs and groups that people can get involved in to discuss culture.
We have the perfect amount of students and the largest range of income within the UC system, we have people from every walk of life.
