Getting into an RSO to learn about leadership and giving back to the community. There are a lot and if you can't find one, just ask anyone who works at the Student Center. They will direct you in the right place.
The most popular student activities are Bear Den and Student Activities Board in my opinion. Athletic Events are really popular especially Football--you can tell this because of a little thing called the Bear's Den, which is like a little cheer group of students on campus! It is awesome. It is one of the most signed up for activities on campus. I also say SAB because they bring a lot of awesome things to campus such as movies, musicians, and comedians.
Fraternities and Sororities are very popular at UCA. I am not a member of a Fraternity but I have many friends who are. Most parties are held by these groups. Dorm life is a good thing to experience. This is how I met most of my newest friends. My door was always open and anyone was welcome. Residential dorm life is a big thing at UCA. Imagine waking up and your first class was right in your dorm hall down stairs! That was a very fun thing to do. This helped students be more open and also the classes were smaller and one one one interaction with your professor was easier. Intramural sports is also another popular activity. Anything from softball, basketball to bowling were played. Of course, everyone was joining Facebook and interacting through that!
