University of Central Florida Top Questions

I am so proud to be a UCF student! I always brag about all the offices that we have on campus to assist students. Such as the SARC center which tutors students free of charge in general education classes, the Experiential Learning Center that places students in an internship that can earn them college credit, and Career Services that most importantly helps you find a job. Knowing that UCF offers all this to me makes me feel like they want me to succeed in life and are giving me the tools and resources I need to do so.

The professors are very helpful and there is so much to do around campus.

The friendliness of UCF! The people at UCF are very outgoing and will welcome you with open arms. As a transfer, I thought I was going to have trouble meeting friends since I did at my previous university, but when I got here, I met some great people on the first day of class and I've become very close to them! In addition, it has a GREAT Pre-Health program for those wanting to pursue a career in the health field. The program gives you a taste of what professional school in the health field will be like!

I love the size of it! I has recreation centers, many nice diners, and a wondeful scenic environment. It's also located in Orlando which means there's always something to do. We have an awesome Men's Baskentball team and our Fight Song is fun! Coming from a community college, this is such a fun place to learn.

That we are an up and coming school, we 40 years behind us, yet we are doing great things, maybe even better things that the Universities that have been around for 100s of years.

I brag about my instructors. While everyone complains about how awful their professors are in other univiserties I have nothing but great things to say about the instructors ive had already. All of them make themselves available and are open to help students in need with whatever type of course material they need help with.

I brag about how many fun events like concerts, games, and social gatherings occur on campus. There is always something going on, and something to do, and that's what I like about it. There are many colleges out there that I hear about, that don't have a lot to do for their students, and it's boring. UCF definitely keeps their students involved with the school and I like that.

It's a huge campus...it's like a little town!

That it beats theirs'. Mostly that I love all my classes and professors. The main thing though is when I attend the regional campus of UCF so that my car neither runs out of gas nor breaks down. With the regional campus at Cocoa I can stay at home and take care of my Grandfather, which has been such a stress reliever knowing I have the ability to help them at anytime.

It is most exciting to brag about how wonderful of a school the University of Central Florida truly is. With regional campuses all over the state of Florida, UCF allows students to take classes closer to home, greatly helping out with college expenses. Also, there are so many school functions to take part in, including a spirit night, which often involves huge game tournaments, movies, and party foods. With all of this in addition to have just won our football game at the Liberty Bowl, it is difficult to not brag about UCF.

I love the campus layout. It is not intimidating and it is easy to learn your way around the campus. The campus is almost homely, since all the buildings are in a circle, and its not possible to drive directly through the campus. Most other universities are so vast and it can take you 30 minutes to walk from one building to another. Here, it takes a student 15 minutes to walk from building to building and make classes on time.

I always tell my friends that do not go to UCF that they are truly missing out on a great opportunity! UCF has a great academic program, with wonderful professors, and great classmates! I also tell them all about the great on campus activities we have year round, and all the gret things in the Orlando area!

Beautiful campus. For the most part Instructors are interested in students learning. Lots of tutors/ academic assistance if having trouble with a course.

This school was by far the nicest campus I had visited across the state of Florida. Everything is very clean and new, and it always seems like they are continuing to get better. They gym has 5 full basketball courts, a track, two weight sections, and a seperate level just for cardio. Over this Christmas break they have added another building to the facility with an indoor swimming pool.

We are amongst the largest schools in the nation and we cater to over 30 majors. With an undefeated basketball team and our football team are Liberty Bowl Champions.

UCF is a large school with over 52,000 students, but I have thought it was pretty easy to make friends, or significant others in my classes, and through campus activities. During my first year at UCF I was a bit intimidated by how large the campus was, and how poor I was coming in. Both of my parents didn't work, so I needed to find a job quickly. I was lucky enough to recieve a work study position through Women's Studies. I also got envolved in volunteering at Cora rehab, and for the Make a wish foundation.

I brag the most about UCF's school spirit. Although we may not always be the best at sporting events we stand behind our teams and wear our school colors with pride.

We are the third largest university in the whole country.

I love it. Im comcortable, lots of nice people, no drama, lots of positive things to do.

I have a lot to brag about regarding the University of Central Florida. We have a great gym, beautiful on-campus housing options, a lovely campus layout. We also have a great Police Department, which is fully functioning. I participated in a great Internship there, and learned that the UCF Police Department does SO much for the safety of our students (much of which is behind the scenes).

It is in Orlando where there is a lot to do.

When discussing the benefits of being a student at the University of Central Florida, I tend to brag most about how helpful and friendly the academic advisors are in addition to the wide variety of services and facilities offered to help students complete their majors.

When talking about the University of Central Florida, the first pitch is always to boast about the Computer Science and Engineering departments. The University of Central Florida has the third best program for these two departments in the nation. Also the connections that the Unviversity of Central Florida has to major compaies and corporations, such as Lockheed Martin and Boeing, are extremely beneficial to starting one's career while in college.

I usually tell people that the students and the professors were the best. We had 40,000 students (back in early 2000s) and they came from everywhere. I met so many people from Europe, South America, the Caribbean, and Asia. It was such a great experience. You learn the most from others and not just a lecture. I met so many great professors that encouraged us and believed we could make a difference with our lives and others. We were all like U.N. in the city of Orlando.

It's very large and beautiful. Plenty of space and things to do.

The thing i brag most about is the fact that everything is around the campus and you dont need to travel to far. From movie theatres to grocery stores, you dont need to travel more then five minutes to find one.

I tell my friends that the University is massive and constantly expanding. There are so many resources and opportunities on camous that allow you to get involved in whatever interest you. Whether it is Student Government, Greek Life, Volunteer Service, or any type of club, you can find an organization of it at UCF. The professors are exremeley helpful and there is a large variety of classes to choose from.

I brag about the neatness af the college campus. The campus is very clean and easy to get from one place to another just on foot

I brag about how beautiful the campus is, and that the instructors at my school are amasing. I haven't had a professor I didn't like. I pretty much brag about everything there, like I said its a great school.

When I brag about my school to my other friends I would say I mostly brag about the diversity of my school. Many people think that my school is the furthest thing from diverse and I too thought the same until I actually began attending UCF. I was very shocked to find how many different people come from all over to attend this school. Everyone is very open and welcoming to students and faculty of all cultures. That is something I would say I brag about most because I'm not only getting an education but a cultural learning also.

It's a pretty campus

I brag most about the school spirit and how intelligent and divers most students are on campus. For example we party but everyone gets their work done and move on to awesome careers.

That it is the 3rd largest school in the country.

The campus is beautiful. The weather is usually nice. Its a nice environment to learn in.

When I talk to my friends about UCF the first thing I bring up is how beautiful our campus is. I have visited all the major universities in Florida and I believe none are close to being as nice as ours. The layout of the campus also allows me to walk from side to the other in under 15 minutes. The buildings are visually pleasing and are extremely comfortable during class. I wake up everday and marvel at how lucky I am to call this paradise home.

Opportunites. UCF gives students so many opportunites in so many different fields. As discussed in my answer before, I enjoy the clubs, groups and lectures they set up to help students understand real world situations for their majors. I appreciate being able to take part in these things and really feel as though I've gotten my moneys worth out of my college experience. Yes, it's important to get a degree but it's also important to meet people and have fun along the way. I think for me, UCF has shown me fun but yet hard work.

Very active campus!

The University of Central Florida vaunts a beautiful campus with a unique, concentric design with an aim of a pedestrian accessible campus. The beautiful campus and buildings offer an impressively innovative aspect that matches the new and evolving progress of the University of Central Florida.

The one thing I brag most about UCF is the wide variety of opportunities the University offers. From clubs to events, my friends are tired of hearing about the benefits a Knight has when attending the school. Sports events and concerts seem to be a habitual event, alongside with guest speakers and club meetings. Universtiy of Central Florida is a school to be proud about.

The low cost I pay, the amazing teachers, and scholarship opportunities.

It is close to Disney and the theme parks; the campus is BEAUTIFUL! And even though it has over 59,000 students, it doesn't feel very big.

It's the one of the largest in the nation, and it's in Orldando, so there's a ton to do.

The style of the campus, it's size, and the climate of Florida.

The faculty and staff at the University of Central Florida is an excellent group of individuals. They are knowledgable and eager to teach the subject matter from their field of study. In addition, the school retains a "small" feeling despite the hace that over 50,000 students attend the university. This feeling of "smallness" is helpful in class where teachers can focus on individual students.
