Sometimes class sizes are so big that classes have to be offered through video streaming and at times you cannot get into the class you need.

PARKING!!! Too many students, not enough parking.

The campus is very spread out. The parking is a bit difficult at times. It is a very beautiful campus but sometimes classes are too spread out and there is a lot of walking needed to be done.

Parking is a major challenge at UCF.

Parking is absolutely terrible. This is primarily because they have an evergrowing need to create more buildings, so they replace parking lots with buildings. The problem is that they don't create new parking right away. Their future projects will hopefully out-pace the overall growth of the school.

-Too much students here and not enough professors -Not enough financial aid given out to those who really need it.

UCF is so culturally diverse mainly because it is so large. The only complaint I have about UCF is that, at times, its facilities could not handle the number of students attending the university. Technically it could handle it, but it is detrimental to a student if he or she cannot find room in the library to be able to study for finals because it is so packed with other students.

Since it is in a metropolitan area, there is not a sense of community pride in association with the university.

Well, the school I am going to is pretty big and has only been getting bigger each and every year. There is always so much going on because it is in Orlando. There is always a lot of traffic, there are over 30,000 students, and there just doesn't seem to be enough room for all of us. This is why there is construction of some sort going on. One day it could be a parking garage and the next it might be another building. Bottom line, is there isn't enough room.

The worst thing about UCF is the parking. Trying to find a parking spot is like trying to find gold. It is very difficult and requires a lot of time and looking in order to find a spot.

Sometimes the classes are too overwhelmingly large and it makes me disinterested in class.

I attend a satellite campus and sometimes they want you to drive to the main campus to speak with an advisor. This is difficult when you work full-time and go to school full-time and the main campus is 30 minutes away and one hour with traffic. Also, parking at the main campus is ridiculous. You have to pay an astronomical fee and circle for at least 30 minutes or more to find a parking spot.

I consider the worst thing at our school to be the parking. I typically take earlier courses, around 7am, so there will be open parking throughout the campus then. However, when it reaches 10am, it is near impossible to find a parking spaces until around 9pm.

The worst thing about my school is the size. It can take up to thirty minutes walking from one side to the other. The classroom buildings are no where near any of the dorms, health center, or cafeteria's.

Great school however the size is excessive; wouldn't be a grand problem if somehow we could have a closer UCF community as well as more of a balance as far as race and ethnicity goes.

Being that the University of Central Florida is such a large school, attention and focus that teachers and faculty can give their students is naturally less than other, smaller schools. The overall size of the school can be overwhelming and cause students to feel as though they don't have a true place within the "system." I believe the University of Central Florida does a decent job with what they have to work with, but they could stand to make the school, it's faculty, and it's system more accessible.

The confusion of where to get the right answers to ceratin questions. For, example where do I go to get an override. I have been sent all over campus, but still could not get the right answer. Also, it is bad when the degree requiremtns change constantly. It is bad when you are trying to graduat, change majors, and the classes you already took do not apply because the degree requirements have changed.

The worst thing about the University of Central Florida is the parking. There are five parking structures and many smaller parking lots littered throughout the campus, but combined they offer around ten-thousand parking spaces for fifty-thousand students. Chances are you will be late to many classes, even if you arrive to campus early, because you will be stuck circling the parking lots endlessly hoping to find someone leaving that will give you their spot. If you violate any ridiculous rule set by the parking services on campus, you will be issued over-priced tickets for any small infraction.

What I consider the worst thing about my school is there is no roomate matching for on-campus housing, and AP scores are not credited toward the right classes.

A good parking spot is hard to find. Nothing to worry about for those that dont own cars.

The online course curriculum is underdeveloped. My school is one of the up and coming public universities in America with great professors and unique courses molding students into a workforce of leaders with skills that are in high demand and in short supply. However, with the fast movement of technology, opportunites to implement non-traditional methods in every aspect of American life are now open. The local community college offers complete online degrees , broadening their student body. For a school that is being noticed, it is difficult to understand why UCF hasn't taken full advantage of these opportunities.

The worst thing about my school is perhaps the difficult time it takes to coordinate my schedule for my classes in order to finish my bachelor degree within four years. Many times classes are all offered at the same time on the same days, and that causes me to have to extend the number of semesters to be able to take all the classes I need.

The online portal for all students is very confusing. There is not a tutorial on how to use it at all. You basically have to wing-it in order to figure out how to navigate around the portal.

The worst thing would have to be the teachers who have thick accents. They tend to be in the science classes and since I have a science major, I tend to have them. Nobody could understand them and they would get irritated when nobody could understand them. It was an on-going cycle. After a while, the students would either not show up to class or make an attempt to show up and understand what the teacher was trying to say.

It is not a good idea to depend on the shuttles that travel around campus because they are hardly on time and are not reliable.

The worst thing would be its size, since there are so many people here, you never truly get to form bonding relationships with others, or it is harder. Every day I can sit next to two new people in class and I could finish the semester and still have students left. The size of the school mkaes it much harder to get close to others, specially if youre not outspoken.

UCF has a bad parking situation. You have to arrive extremely early to find a spot.

The worst thing about this school is that there are not always a lot of options for classes. Meaning that for a specific Psychology class there may only be on time a week when it is offered. This makes it difficult to find a class that works with your schedule and it makes it more difficult to get enrolled in an course because they fill up quickly.

The worst thing about UCF is that I will eventually have to leave. This is school is always growing, always changing, and always getting better. Students who graduated a few short years ago already have trouble recognizing it because of all the new construction, all the new programs, and all the amazing advancements that the university has made in such a short amount of time. It's a wonderful place to be, and it really prepares students for the real world. Though leaving with all the knowledge I've gained will be beneficial, I still don't want to go.

Parking on campus is the worst thing about UCF

The size of classes are too big. I am taking one online class, and the professor does not allow to send email to him because there are "too many students". We only can communicate through the online discussion bord.

The General Education courses are very large. My first year there i was in a class with almost 300 students.

I don't like that any kind of electionis based on popularity and involvement in a social fraternity. I also do not like that we allow people on the Free Speech Lawn to degrade and demean those who walk past. I get that it's free speech, but it's not right that we let them on campus when we know people are going to be hurt and upset because of they're rudeness.

At this time I do not feel that I can answer this question because I am just transferring to the University and I have not attended any classes.

UCF and the surrounding area have the worst traffic

The worst thing about UCF is the size of the student body. The registrar lost my transcript several times which resulted in a hold on my account so that I couldn't apply for classes, and my financial aid would not go through. It is also very hard to get to know your professors which is necessary when applying for scholarships that need letters oc recommendations

Once you get into your major related courses, the course work seems to pile up near the end of the semester and you're constantly caught up doing work without reprieve.

While UCF is always improving the older buildings and facilities, I do not like that there is always construction every where on campus.

The worst thing about UCF is the walking distance from class to class at times.

The worst thing at the school is the unacceptance of cultural diversity. There are many teachers from other countries, and most are very well spoken thought provoking professors. However, there are select number of students from each of these classes that complain about their accents or state that they cannot understand them. I feel these students do not care to pay attention in class and instead blame the instructor.

For me, the worst thing is parking. It is a year-round battle in which the amount of students far outnumbers the amount of parking spaces. Some people will drive around for almost an hour just to get a spot, only to walk a mile to their class. I drive to a business complex a few miles away and take the bus onto campus. With all this, I still pay nearly $100 for a parking pass. Living so far away from campus is also problematic and feeds into the parking issue.

The only problem my school currently has is a lack of course offerings and scheduling conflict. Unfortunately, many students work, in order to pay for schooling and the way in which scheduling is set for the coming semester, conflicts gravely with work schedules. Most courses are offer in the middle of day and very few at night. In the event, a student must forgo completing satisfactory progress on a 4-year graduation schedule and revert to a 6-year schedule. It is a catch-22: meet with financial or course requirements.
