The type of person that shouldn't attend this school would be someone that is shy and prefers a small community.

To me there exist no person who should not attend this school. As long as a person seeks to better themselves or seeks a form of education then they should attend the University of Central Florida. Whether they are a book worm or a party animal this school has something to offer them.

People that do not enjoy large crowds, people that prefer a quiter environment, students who want individualized attention (classes are often big lecture classes) and people who cannot stand hot/humid climates.

Peopl who don't like big campuses or students bodies. Students who want to study philosophy should also not attend.

The only "person" that might not enjoy UCF campus life is one who can't stand heat. Florida gets very hot.

Since UCF is one of the biggest schools in the nation, if you don't like being around 50,000 people and prefer to know the majority of the people at your school then UCF isn't right for you. The classroom sizes can go up to 400 and that might overwhelm some people.

If you do not like big schools that always have activities going on then this is not the school for you. Also, if you do not like living in a city you should not attend University of Central Florida.

The kind of person who wants to stay indoors all day except for going to class and never doing anything other than classwork. There are much more prestigious schools to attend where the degree is worth staying in all the time. But at UCF, part of the value of college is learning independence and finding yourself as a person. This can only be achieved by being involved in the school and trying new things.

I believe that UCF is a school for the dedicated, those with a goal and the determination to strive for excellence. If those attributes cannot be found in a person, UCF isn't the institution for him/her.

I believe a person who is dedicated to finishing school should attend UCF. There is a lot of partying around the campus, and not much involvement in sports. You have to be really motivated and focused on your goal to finish in the time you want to finish in with good grades.

A person who is not ready to take their education in their own hands and want advisors to do everything for them should not attend this university. As with any other university someone who is not whilling to work hard should not attend either.

I think everybody should attend this school. I am only attending for two years, but I have been waiting since I graduated high school to come here. The college experience should be something everybody should do. It is hard at first, the campus life can be overwhelming...the size of campus and classes can be intimidating, you may feel lost at times, you have to really be organized and keep your classes up to date. If not, the semester will go by and you classes may suffer because you are too involved in campus activities.

This school, University of Central Florida, should not be attended by students who only think about partying all the time. If the students? main goal is not studying and getting involved in the community while attending UCF, they should not attend this school.

Attending school at Central Florida is definitely a culture schock. If you are a student who does not wish to interact with incredibly different religious, political, and racial backgrounds then you should not attend this university. This school also boasts somewhere over 60,000 students, so if you prefer a small social setting, I suggest you stay away from our football games. Overall, do not apply to this school if you want nothing to do with experiencing the diversity of sixty five thousand people first hand.

The type of person who should not attend this school would be someone who prefers classes that consist of a small number of students and is not self-motivated.

Due to the fact this UCF is one of the largest in the nation, a student who is used to a small class size might be overwhelmed on the first day because classes tend to be so large. However, because of the highly educated professors and plethera of outgoing students, many newcomers may find this at first uncomfertable situation, to be one where they can explore within themselves. I find myself meeting many nice students who i know i can form not only study groups with as well as long lasting friendships through our time learning and spending time together.

I think UCF is a great school for almost any kind of person. We open our arms to anyone who is a positive person.

I believe everyone should have a chance to enroll at a Unversity, but it depends on the individuals work ethic if they will pass or not.

The University of Central Florida is a huge campus with tens of thousands of students. If crowds or busy environments pose a problem to an individual, UCF probably isn't the best for them. Smaller classes and a less crowded campus would be better, or they could start at a community college and work their way up.

Someone who likes big campusus and cities shouldn't attend the campus I attend. I go to UCF's Palm Bay campus, which is in a smaller city than Orlando. The main campus should be good for this kind of person, though.

If a person is not serious about their education and their future, they should consider thinking about their future plans due to the fact that U.C.F. is for students who want to become successful professionals. The University of Central Florida is the third largest university in the country and there are a lot of people competing for the same things. You have to be ready to stay on top of your school work, have good study skills, and time management skills. If you are a person who wants to slack off, this isn't the school for you. You need to be able to balance your social life and school life well.

I personally think that there is niche for just about everybody. UCF is a school of 53,000 students so it will be hard not to find anybody with some thing in common with. It is easy to get lost in the school so it would be ideal if the person had hobbies and interests they already know they want to pursue. If socially you do not like dance clubs then the night life might not be want you want in orlando. If your somewhat of a loner, UCF might not be the place for you.

People who want to party all the time and dont take their career seriously shouldnt come here.

Anyone who doesn't like the impersonal nature of a large campus will not do well at UCF. Classes are comprised of large lectures and a variety of online classes for most majors, and it's easy to meet someone around campus and never see them again. Student groups are essential to making connections with people here, so if that isn't your thing your experience will likely be very lonely. Also, anyone who isn't willing to take five classes (one more class than full time) each semester can easily find themselves at UCF for 5 or more years.

A person who needs a smaller enviroment should not attend this school unless they are able to apply and be accepted to the Honors College where they can recieve more one on one time with their professors (in small classes) and advisers.
