Bethany

I wish I had known that classes would go quick once registration started. You pretty much have to be the first person to sign up or you won't get the class you want.

Vasthie

I wish I knew that I was going to have to study seriously. Going to college, I expected it to be hard. What I did not expect was the fact that the classes seemed as easy as my classes in high school. With that mind-set, I studied for classes as if I were in high school. My laziness caught up to me when I realized that my GPA was below a 3.0. Now I am working very hard to make up for my GPA when I could have saved myself the trouble by studying in the first place.

Yonney

I wish i would have know that University is not at hard as people say it is. The staff is friendly and the classes are easy to identify. The guidance councelor is personal and became my good friend to go to with any questions i have. I feel like i belong to a family when I am at school.

Before attending the University of Central Florida, I wish I had known that help was available after class in the Math Lab for anyone taking a mathematics course. Michelle

There is nothing specific that I wish I would have known. I am very happy here.

Stephen

How to be informed of school events and functions.

Crystal

Before coming to this school, I wish I would've known that it was so GREAT. Rather than starting in the Spring of 09 I would've started in the Fall of 08. It definitely wasn't one of my first choices. I ended up at another school in the Fall of 08, which was my first choice school and it didn't work out too well. I felt like I wasted my time and I miss out on a whole semester which could've been spent at UCF. It was definitely a learning experience though.

Bryan

Before I came to this school, I wish I had known about the many ways to get involved, such as social clubs and the student goevernment association

Camila

Housing has been a challenge. I received 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} bright futures based on my academic career for tuition only. Of course, housing was not given for free. If I would have known that I was not going to receive any aid for housing, I would have chosen an institution close to home. I was able to find a part-time job, but it is still not enough. At this point, I would like to search for any help I could get from scholarships. The help is out there, I just need the lending hand for these troubling expenses.

Deborah

I can't think of anything.

Before I came to UCF, I wish that I knew what my direction in life was. I have changed my major a few times, and finally now, at the age of 37, I am ready to go into the world of Technical Communication. Had I known that there was a need for people with my talents in this area, I would have pursued this major sooner and gotten started on the right path. However, I'm here now and ready to conquer the world ahead of me!

I wish I would of known college is what you make it. If you stress out about everything and also worried about how things are going to be your grades will reflect it. If you have a balance between books and life you experience will not be as dreadful as many others. College is the prime of life and if you stress that part of your life away you might just be as stressful in your career and family life.
