SAMIYAH - 07/02/2023

University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College, is a great school for students who need smaller class sizes and one on one assistance. They have lots of programs and group studies to help students succeed. UC Blue Ash also has, a diverse cultural campus which welcomes everyone no matter your background.

Ibodat - 01/24/2021

University of Cincinnati-Blue Ash College is a college where everyone can attend no matter their age or knowledge level. It is diverse which makes it outstanding because I learned a lot from various cultures and ethnicities. I love my college because it is organized, and professors are always there to help or give advice. Now due to the pandemic, I am taking online courses which I don’t enjoy much. I miss being at the campus, especially walking outside and enjoying the beauty of nature.

J Leann - 07/01/2020

I loved my time at UCBA. It fit perfectly to my lifestyle and learning style. Having a small and safe campus with the main campus connections was the best of both worlds. A small campus also meant the luxury of small classes and the benefit of developing meaningful relationships with professors and administrators.

  3. What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

I wish I had known that commuting truly is not for me. Since there are no dorms at UCBA all the students there either commute or travel up from the main campus. I also wish I knew of the lack of recreational activities at the Blue Ash campus as well. There is not much to do between classes except sit around. That to me is the biggest problems with UCBA, the fact that it is a commuter school and that there are not many activities to get involved in on the campus itself.

  4. Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.

Small enough all your professors know you by name, but big enough to have all the programs I'm interested in: libraries, up-to-date science and computer labs, tutoring and classwork assistance, student government, a newspaper, study abroad, all of it!

  5. Describe the students at your school.

Most of my classmates are older than me. There are some that are true freshman like myself, but not as many as you would find on the main campus. I will say that they are all very focused and everyone works hard. There are not many who are off task, when in lecture or lab. Everyone realizes that we are all here to learn and gain knowledge that will help us all in our current or future careers.

  7. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The worst thing about my school is that, due to being a community college, the majority of students are older. It is harder to make friends this way. Most of them have kids and are trying to earn degrees as to earn more money. Due to this, there is not alot of student oranizations.

  8. Describe your favorite campus traditions.

You can get a really good education at Raymond Walters College if you apply yourself and work hard. I love going to school at Raymond Walters. The classes aren't really big and all the teachers that I've had so far really care about you and will go out of their way to help you succeed, you just have to ask.

  9. What are the most popular student activities/groups?

Not much happens at the Blue Ash location but they is a lot to do on the main campus so i would definitely check that out. But there is a group for everyone, at least from what i saw.

  10. What's unique about your campus?

The best thing about Raymond Walters, and community colleges in general, are the class sizes. There are approximately 28 or so students in each class. Because of this you get alot of more personalized help from your professors where if you were at a university the professor would most likely ot even know you name much less care about the work you do.

  11. What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?

The stereotype is that there are all different ages and race that attend the Blue Ash location. It is true and sometimes annoying because then you have to listen to people who don't know anything talk about their baby. To me it was a really annoying college to go to.
