I live off campus as an online student but I am very pleased with my experience so far. I have gained valuable knowledge and the professors are amazing. I like the easy access to course material. The professors respond to emails right away and the teaching assistants are friendly.

The University of Cincinnati is in an up and coming location with years of history and culture at your fingertips. Not only is the campus engaging, but the area surrounding it is a wealth of opportunity if you're ready to find it. I'm from the area, but attending the university has not only taught me the essentials of success in my major, but has also given me a greater appreciation for the beautiful city. Every professor I have come in contact with so far has made it a point to keep themselves available to students and demonstrate their desire for us to succeed, which is a marvelous reflection on how the University of Cincinnati prides itself on excellence.

Love it! I felt just right at home when I first visited and that feeling hasn't changed. Big enough that there's always someone new to meet but small enough that you don't feel that you get lost in the crowd. Great academics and great extra curriculars on and off campus.

The campus itself has given me many opportunities to grow as a student and a person. There are many extracurricular organizations that anyone can join and easily feel like a part of the community. The campus is very lively, and tries to actively promote diversity and upcoming events. Some things that can be improved are buildings and additional parking. Most of the professors I've had are pretty fair, however, our Computer Science/Engineering department is lacking. I've only had a few professors that are willing to engage the students in the subject, making it difficult to grasp the concept especially for a beginner software developer like me. Overall, the campus has many opportunities to take on leadership roles, and allow students to dive into other cultures and customs, however I would like to see improvement in the academic areas.

I really enjoy the University of Cincinnati, specifically my major (Information Technology), In IT at UC, you must complete 5 co-ops to graduate. This rule is a huge benefit because students don't only get experience, but also an income to help pay their tuition. Many universities don't even have an option to major in IT, so for UC to really push IT is an added benefit. Additionally, the professors are quite accessible and my peers are fairly driven to succeed in their lives. Many people are very kind and the amount of resources that are devoted to the students is pretty incredible. The resources include UC night ride, a free recreation center, multiple libraries, access to great food and nightlife, and some of the best arts and academic programs in the country. Furthermore, the administration at UC really cares about the students, as evidenced by the tuition freeze this past year. Many students would be negatively impacted by an increase in tuition, but thankfully our president made a big push for us, which allowed us to maintain the same cost of tuition. All in all, UC is a phenomenal university that has a great IT program, phenomenal resources for students, and a caring administration that cares about the needs of students.

The University, first of all, is huge. The main campus is most intimidating because of this. But no worries. You will rarely spend time outside the area where your classes do not reside and you will be fine. There are always new people to see. You could meet someone while walking, and without maximum effort, you could never see them for the next two months. Friends are everywhere, and most people are very welcoming. Student life is blended and the school advocates strongly for diversity and inclusion in every form. On-campus facilities are state of the art, and when you have time, as long as you are a student, you have no restraints whatsoever. The campus architecture and surrounding are science oriented and it made in a way to accommodate rain and other weather elements, and it is listed as one of the most beautiful college environments in the United States. Some classes are huge depending on your major, and some majors are harder than others, but if you are where you want to be, you will love it. There is so much to do outside of class. Intramural sports are very big in the school and FC Cincinnati game tickets are discounted for students. The school is surrounded by many housing units like apartments and such, which are built for student life. There is so much food on and around campus, including three Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, Burger King, Taco Bell, Raising Canes, Panera, Buffalo Wild Wings and Chipotle, as well as many stores like Kroger, Target, and Urban Outfitters. Some of the stores around even discount food and you can afford things with your Bearcat ID card. Apart from all the flashy things, the university is known for top-notch academics. The college of business, college of engineering and applied science, and campus conservatory of music are just three of what the school is known for. It's a great school and I highly recommend it. I'm an immigrant and I feel welcome and supported there.

The University of Cincinnati has the potential to be a thriving institution of education. There are wonderful teachers, plenty of opportunities, a plethora of activities going on. If you could essentially pick up the campus and put it somewhere else you would be set. The area around the campus really affects students overall view on the campus. It is incredibly unsafe with very little around it. The dorms are less than amazing, but many are being rebuilt, a new business school is being built, along with a nationally recognized architecture and nursing program. All Cincinnati needs is for its campus to reflect is academics.

I love the University of Cincinnati. I came from out of state for many reasons. Personally, I am offered in-state-tuition which is an amazing opportunity that UC offers to many different counties in other states. Cincinnati also has the Co-Op program in which students work full time in the real world while alternating semesters with school. These Co-Ops are paid and are often the best scholarship because the money can be used towards your education. Cincinnati also offers me a big DI school that feels like a small school. Many people do not realize that UC has over 43,000 students that attend it. UC's campus is small in size but it is not small in opportunity. There is always something going on throughout the week, whether that's UC sporting events, an FCC soccer game, or different events hosted by different student organizations on campus. Even though we are large in student size, our classes are small in numbers. Aside from the major general education courses that many majors are required to take, classes will rarely be over 50 in your first and second year, and rarely over 25 in your 3rd and 4th years. Our professors genuinely care about our education and it shows. All professors hold office hours but are often found in their offices during other times meeting with students or just being there in case a student needs to meet. Our campus is made beautiful by our old buildings, but the insides of them are anything but old. The buildings have undergone renovations in the last years to make them technology updated on the inside so that the students can flourish. Overall, UC offers an education that cannot be rivaled on a campus unlike any other.

Love it. Most awesome place with tremendous diverse opportunities on and off campus. This school allows me to pursue my goals and has an amazing support staff that helps hide me through every imaginable process. I had offers from many colleges but felt this was like Home to me.
