Honestly.. the food is not good. Buckley, Putnam, McMahon, and North are gross. McMahon and Northwest are the only dining halls open past 7:15. East is alright, with a lot of local route foods. South is relatively decent, but lacks variety. Towers has Hillel and Halal, along with a rotating station, and is easily the best food on campus. The Union food is okay, but gets old really quick. Panda Express, Wendy's and Blimpie are in the Union, but the school doesn't really offer any sort of deal or meal plan, so I never waste cash there. The UC Cafes offer horribly unhealthy crap. The 'Spa Food' healthy offerings are almost never available at these cafes. Today, I had a small turkey sandwich on a foccacia bread roll.. 1400 calories, 94{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} fat daily value, 132{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} saturated fat. The Freshman 15 is unavoidable here, even with all the walking you do.
