I spend a lot of time in the study lounge in my dorm. its really convenient to be able to just walk down a couple of steps in your own building and have a quiet place to do work. People are usually quiet and respectful in there. If you prefer a little bit of background noise, then the student center Perkins is a great place to study. You can get a cup of coffee at Dunkin Donuts and sit down on a couch and get work done.
My freshman year, I did all my work from my dorm room, but that has changes a lot this year. My favorite place to go is the library because I feel that I can really focus there. Some other places on campus that are quiet are Perkins student center and the Chapel in Trabant. There are a lot of quiet places to study around campus, all with different atmospheres which is really nice.
