The best and worst parts of the social scene at University of Denver

The social scene all depends on the individuals effort to get out and participate in it, so its not very exclusive. With that said, the social scene is pretty boring because most people like doing the same thing all the time: ski, drink, go to boring house parties.

The best part is meeting new people at a party and then seeing them around campus later. The worst part is that DU's party scene is lacking. Fall is good for parties--there's usually eat least one each weekend, but nothing huge (no Animal House Toga parties here). But once the winter sets in, we are a bar school. Everyone goes to the bars on weekends instead of house parties.
