This is a great school and it is small, which is i like it. also a private school. If you are loving city, this would be the to learn and living the ratio is 14:1. Class rooms are small and you get to know people around you pretty well.
i think that is not that much of a requirement, just maintain a good GPA and be willing to learn and study.
I feel as though the kind of person attending U of D should be able to balance a social life with their academic standing because you have to know how to stay focused. The student should be organized and willing to get involved.
I would recommend it to everyone.
A person looking to have a close relationship with fellow students and the faculty. It is a smaller school and allows for a lot of student/faculty interaction.
Someone who isnt to concerned about price, or about sports. There are sports to watch but there is no football teams, and sports and not a huge focus at this school. Teachers are good, a lot of them are preists, most are very well educated as well. Class rooms are small, and so is the campus. It is in a bad area, but the campus itself is realativly safe. Dorms arent great, but they get the job done. Lots of frats and sororities to choose from as well.
A person attending University of Detroit Mercy should be academically focused and have a good career path in mind. It is a private University with a higher tution rate and a smaller competitive classes. In order to be successful at UDM a person needs to have the condifidence and drive to push themselves in order to pursue their academic goals. This person must be hard working and ready to put in the hours necessary to do well.
Only a person who is focused should attend this school
Anyone wanting their education from people in the field who know what companies are looking for. Anyone interested in smaller class sizes for more personalized attentention.
Someone financially secured being that the school is expensive and eager to learn.
The kind of person that attends this school should be academically motivated, career focussed, and ready for a heavy course load.
I attend the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry so it varies a bit from the main campus. People who attend here have already chosen their career field and need to be very motivated and academically oriented to be able to pass the classes that are required. You also have to be a very mature person because you work on patients from different backgrounds and it is a very demanding program.
