The best thing is by far the career education center. This part of our university helps students network with potential employers for both co-op/intern jobs in their related fields or for post graduation. Many of UDM's programs require a year of working experience in order to graduate with a Bachelor's, and this department really helps students find the RELEVANT jobs that they will be someday working after graduation.
The best thing about my school is the nursing program that I am in. It is the most challenging thing that I have ever done in my life. In my highschool I was a teachers pet who got by on extra credit, never studying, and being the teachers favorite student. It was a big wake up call in college when I reiceived my first C. I cried for two days because I had never received anything lower than an A-. This is why, even though the nursing program is extreemly hard, it feels rewarding knowing that I am challenging myself.
Many people commute to this school but still allows you to make friends with the peopel that attend classes there.
The best thing about my school is the teacher student ratio and relationship between the students and the faculty/staff. Ecah is very respectable to each other, and the ratio is about 14:1, giving each student the attention they need to achieve good grades and advance in school. The professors tend to be very nice and down-to-earth as well.
All of their programs are well known and recognized for the many accomplishments that students recieve once they have finished school. As well as the nice and caring staff of administrators and professors.
my school is a small school that can give individual attention and most of the staff are very nice people that are willing to help the students with a smile, not like in other colleges that you don't get individual attention and have to wait a lot to revice help from the staff members of the school.
Best thing hands down was the research opportunities available to undergraduates in the chemistry department.
Access to professors
That I was able to learn about a new culture and life in a different metropolitan area.
The learning atmosphere! Every time i come to school I just feel valued, gifted, and appreciated! I know i'm doing something good for myself that will allow me to give back to the community when I graduate. I know I made the right choice for my future ahead.
The school is a very small community located in an urban enviroment.
Professors
It is small and easier to concentrate
class sizes. they are perfect and allow a lot of teacher to student help.
