I really enjoy my University very much for several reasons! It has a lot of school spirit because of the variety of things to do. There are a variety of sports which people can choose from. There are over 50 clubs around campus that actively accept members every year. I am very happy here!

Overall, I am enjoying my time at the University of Florida. All of my professors are easily accessible outside of the classroom, and everyone in the department is extremely friendly and will go the extra mile to know you. It's never quiet on campus, so you can always find something to do.

The University of Florida has a curriculum that I really enjoy. It has pushed me to get out of my comfort zone and explore new opportunities and different ways of thinking. There is a great sense of comradery among all the students here and I really enjoy that, as it was different for me in high school.

My overall opinion of the University of Florida is that I could not have picked a better school to go to. I absolutely love it here! The environment foster personal and intellectual growth while also allowing time to enjoy the college years. This school is truly one of the best schools in the south!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

(In Morgan Freeman’s voice) Ah, the most respected and rigorous institution in the southeastern United States (according to the students, alumni, faculty, and the 500 people that actually live in Gainesville year-round). Where every young buck growing up in the state of Florida dreams of matriculating so they can create memes on the award-winning Facebook group, “Swampy UF Memes for Top Ten Public Teens”. The arch rival of the only other well-known Institution-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named in Florida, located in Talla-Nasty full of seething UF rejects. The home of the Florida Gators, a football team that hasn’t done anything particularly special in ten years but whom the student body cheers on every Saturday “In All Kinds Of Weather”. The University of Florida, the crown jewel of the state’s lacking education system (insert mental picture of Ben Hill Griffin Football Stadium, we know you know what it looks like). In a nutshell, UF is humid, hot, and features afternoon drizzles year-round in Rainesville, FL. All of the students have a perpetual tan and use “dude” as a term of endearment. Everyone is constantly talking about “Mid” as the confused freshman ask, “Middle of what?” while proclaiming in the same breath, “I’m a junior by credits”, to the glee of the upperclassmen seeking fodder for the meme page. It is fullest of the brightest shining stars the state has to offer, and they know it. Still, the student body is quite humble, and lives by the mantra, “Once a Gator, always a Gator”. Upperclassmen are always helping the freshmen, even as the freshmen in turn make it clear that they were accepted to the entire Ivy League, Oxford, the Grand Ole Opry, and the Pope’s house and only came to UF because all their tuition is paid by the state. It’s okay, the upperclassmen whisper, I was like that too. The Pope’s house isn’t actually all that great, dude. Above all, the student worship the beloved president of the university, Dr. Kent Fuchs, commonly referred to as “Daddy Fuchs”. His last name is pronounced “fox”, but that detail is frequently ignored when they talk about their revered leader. The students pray five times a day facing his house on campus, for deliverance from chem labs and three finals in one week. To compare, the student at Institution-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named have a president named John Thrasher, and no one calls him Daddy Thrasher. Can you imagine? No, never mind, please don’t. The dining hall food is meh, the dorms are hit or miss (have fun climbing fourteen stories’ worth of stairs when the Beaty Towers’ elevators stop working), and unless you’re in Greek Life, good luck getting involved in Student Government. And yet…there is a love on this campus, one that connects every student to each other, even as they stand in an afternoon shower at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium with Daddy Fuchs making dad jokes that will inevitably make it to “Swampy Memes”. This is a love that is spread every time you hear, “Go Gators!” It is a constant reminder that is always great to be a Florida Gator. (Insert mental imagine of logo because we know you know what that looks like too). 6/5 stars

This is the school you go to if you want to receive an extremely high quality education, and where student life is not only about studying, but complete immersion of the college culture. Getting involved on campus, participating in sporting events, making friends, partying on the weekends, and professional development are all part of the package when you become a Florida Gator.

I grew up a Seminole but somehow ended up in the swamp and I love it here. I was a little intimidated by going to a large university but found there was nothing to be worried about. The class sizes are the perfect size, you are able to ask questions and the teachers really try to get to know all of their students. Also, it really is like we're all one big family here. Every club meeting I've been to or new student I've met, everyone has always been so kind and friendly. I truly love being a Florida Gator!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Academically, the University of Florida is renowned for its prestige as one of the top private universities in the country. It also has a relatively diverse student population and has many opportunities for students to get involved and participate actively in the school. However, my main criticisms of the school are the relatively low quality of on-campus housing as well as the food.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Parking is absolutely awful, campus parking enforcement is ruthless and rude. Advisors are unprofessional only having office hours for 3 hours a day. This school is completely about taking money out of your pocket and does not have any regards for student safety nor do instructors care about your success. Office hours for receiving a parking pass are extremely limited. The quality of education is poor. The fraternities and sororities are completely out of control. Completely unsafe campus. Daily incidents on or around campus. Proffesors are rude, said righteous and careless. There is no care expressed for students whatsoever. People work their tails off to get into this school and it is a complete waste because the poor student services and staff. Spend your money more wisely do not go to this institution because it is a scam

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Great university that will prepare me for my future career. However, I do believe the school does make the classes harder then they need to be. It can sometimes feel like you are trying to hard to keep up that you aren't actually learning. Teachers sometimes are a little too pretentious and I often find it hard to communicate my troubles with them.
