In the classroom, professors and students of all nationalities can be found in class sizes that range from fifteen students to over four hundred. Students at the university are proud to be there and show fantastic school spirit. So, if you prefer a smaller school with smaller classes, a less diverse population, and are uninterested in a community that praises the colors of orange and blue, you may want to consider an alternative university or a smaller community college.

There is something for everyone at my school, no group isn't represented on campus. Even if you're concerened about classes being too big, unless you're a science major class size is reasonable and there is are many resources to help you all around. The University of Florida is for everyone. I come from a very close-knit Hispanic family, and even though my first semester was tough being far away, I stil pulled through. I feel like that is the only problem that students would come across. If they can make it past that initial homesick feeling, they can definitely make it through for all 4 years. Whether you're shy, outgoing, religious, atheist, gay, straight, and everything in between, there is definitely something on this campus that will help you feel at home.

Eric

The only kind of person who shouldn't attend this school is one that is not committed to working hard or very ambitious. In order to succeed in this school one needs to push himself to his limit and beyond. He needs to seek out help and guidance, not try and let help and guidance seek him; the latter will not get him very far in his career as a University of Florida student. Without being ambitious and hard working a student will miss all of the potential opportunities the cross his path.

If there is such a person that finds themself where they can't at least like the little things of UF, then they certainly don't belong here, but should continue looking until they find their fit.

The academic standards of the university have gotten to the point at which if someone is not serious about learning, they had best go somewhere else.

Kelly

The only kind of person who shouldn't attend this school is someone who isn't motivated or someone who doesn't care. Otherwise, they would be wasting their time and their instructors' time.

Doran

Someone that should not attend this school would be someone that is close-minded, not open for change, and anti-social.
