If you can still have fun with people who drink before college, you can still do that here. You don't necessarily have to drink, you can dance and talk to people (drunk or sober). However, saying that, if you go out a lot here at UGA, you will probably get sucked into going to bars and drinking.
Of course not! I go to parties all the time and I don't drink. No one cares if you decide to drink or not. Honestly, if you don't, there's more alcohol for them. As long as you go to the party and have fun, you'll be fine. No one will shun you or think you're a weirdo. You can hold me to it. Well, unless you're rushing or something but that's a totally different matter, and even then no one's going to force you to do anything you don't want to do. And now for a brief soapbox schpeal: don't drink if you're underage, don't drink and drive. you will get arrested, you will get in trouble, and you will go through judicial action depending on what you did.
