The hardest thing about freshman year has got to be trying to establish a fun social life while taking 17 hours of classes. Well, at least that was the hardest thing about my freshman year. Sometimes you'd want to go out to the clubs and dance and have fun with the new friends you make, but when you have a paper, a midterm, and two tests looming over your head, you kind of have to prioritize what you want to do. And come finals week, virtually everyone on campus becomes a hermit. The next hardest thing about being a freshman is missing your family. If it's your first time away from home, not having mom's cooking is very hard, especially if you're not used to eating "American" food on a daily basis. If you live far away and miss home, not being able to visit is upsetting.
