I lived in Hale Aloha Lehua my freshman year and I actually loved it! I had a great view of the downtown Honolulu skyline so I could watch the fireworks every Friday from my window, I also had a view of the baseball field and the football practice fields, so the views were always changing. The only bad thing about the towers is that during football season, you will be woken up by the music at the morning practices.
Some are brand new, some are newly renovated, and some are quite old (in need of renovation)....the party life is quite active but of course there are the more quiet floors/halls/buildings.
