I found my passion for accounting in my first accounting class because Professor Mary Sykes was such an amazing teacher and she had a passion for what she taught. I encountered several professors wiht this same passion for thier field.

I think one of the best things about my school is the fact that it is a smaller university. The classes are smaller, there is more one-on-one with the professors, and you find your way around the campus pretty easily.

UHD made it easy to transfer credits from the former school. They offer online courses which makes getting an education easy. Also, they have very good instructors either face to face or online.

I would say the best thing about UHD is the rich amound of diversity in the students and professors who I interact with on a daily basis. As a psychogy major, I know how important it is for people of different backgrounds to be able to speak to each other, share ideas, and learn from each other without having their differences get in the way. Although everyone may not think exactly alike, we all have common goals, interests, and experiences that we can each relate to. You find that you have more in common with others than you might think.

The best thing about my school would be how the location is convenient to where I live. The classes are small and professors help you alot. Registration is an easy process. Student life is very interactive, we do alot as a group in helping eachother.

The absolute best feature of my school is the diversity of the students. I have made many new friends of different races and religions, its amazing how much I have learned by just listening to what they have to say. The diversity has given me an open mind and new look on how the world is made of so many different cultures and there is so much to learn.
