Univ. of Illinois is BIG; the campus is extensive, the lectures are huge, the variety of people enormous, and the opportunities and advantages a student has is gigantic!

The University of Illinois is a great school that has an infinite number of opportunities for its students.

The Undergrad Library is a beloved part of the U of I campus. I personally spend many, many late nights at the UGL, usually before exams. Open 24 hours Sunday-Friday,it provides a great environment to study with tons of places to sit and lounge, and plenty of computers to use. The Espresso Royale supplies students with caffeine so 3 am study group meetings are a usual thing. The UGL boasts the biggest collection of crappy zombie movies and they're free for students to take out, along with video games, and magazines, and of course, books. The Morrow Plots, which was mentioned in the video, was the first experimental corn plot in the western hemisphere, and provided groundbreaking research in growing corn. The plots are so important, they had to build our UGL, underground, so the plots would still be able to flourish and remain a celebrated landmark at the U of I. ( and the concept of a library underground, is just cool)

The Courtyard Cafe in the Student Union is Awesome. You can get your coffee, meet your friends, or study for once. They host improv comedy on monday nights, and bands and dancing is common too on the weeknights. The student union isn't limited to just the cafe though. Downstairs there's a food court with food for everyones taste, and a bowling alley and DDR too. The upstairs boasts huge, comfy couches where you can take a power nap between classes and a convenience store with everything a student could need in case they forgot it at home. The new Jamba Juice has been a really popular addition to the Student Union in the past year.

The bar Scene at the U of I is huge. If your not parting at a Frat House, you're pratying at a bar. Students can enter the bars at 19, although their not allowed to drink until the Legal age 21. So even for freshman, the bar scene is where to be. Bars on Green Street, which is our main drag, hold different themed nights that have something for every one. From Country Night to 8th grade Dance Party, the bar scene has something for everyone.

A lot happens at frat houses across campus. Typical things such as; parties, a lot of drinking, and pledges cleaning up after the upperclassmen. But it's not always like animal house. Fraternities usually host their events that support their national philanthropy at their houses. The house shown here, Sigma Chi, they hold events, for example a blood drive and other events,over a whole week to raise money for their cause.

Get involved with extracurricular activities! You will be bored out of your mind and become rather depressed if you don't find a way to keep yourself busy and get involved socialy with other people! There is such a diverse population on campus that I can garuntee there will be something for you, and if there isn't, then you can start it yourself!

I am having the most fun of my life at U of I and I can't picture myself anywhere else!

UIUC has a huge workload and a huge number of companies to come to hire graduating students.

The school is huge, which means that there is really something here for everybody if you are willing to go out and find what's right for you.

Typical large, Big Ten school but with a higher level of academics.

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is an excellent university with bright students and brilliant professors that inspire and challenge their students.

Students here bleed orange and blue and want to appear united but are separated on some deep level. Academically many are at the top and the school sometimes forgets those at the bottom.

Big enough to have lots of choices in classes and extracurriculars, but not so big that you feel lost in the crowd.

A large university where students are academically motivated to do well in school and put themselves in the best position to succeed in life.

A joke about it is "We are a drinking school with a football problem" and I can see that sometimes with the extreme dedication to sports, but also it has insane ammount of academis, which i love.

This school is big and sociable, but the professors will always make time for their students.

Fun, party school in the middle of nowhere with decent professors and great job prospects.
