University of Kentucky is probably best known for the basketball program. There is a huge following at the school, and it creates a fun and exciting season for everyone in the community. School spirit is everywhere on campus, and there are few who do not follow UK sports.

The University of Kentucky is definitely known for their basketball program with them winning the 2012 NCAA Division 1 Basketball Championship. But not only is UK known for their Division 1 sports, but the at home environment they offer. They offer the best experience they can provide their students.

Kentucky basketball is a University of Kentucky tradition unlike any other school I have ever seen. The campus, students and community all really do bleed blue. The school spirit is great with a lot of energy. The campus is also beautiful. A lot of new buildings are being put up, including a new pharmacy college, a new hospital and a new student center is in the works.

The University of Kentucky has an unparallel environment for college athletics. The electricity in the air around Lexington, KY allows students to be a part of a deep seated tradition of excellence in the South Eastern Conference. While UK is namely a basketball school, every sport from swimming/diving to softball receives the same dedicated fan base that makes you proud to say you are a Wildcat.

UK is best known for it’s Pharmacy school, since it’s one of the largest in the world. It is also known for it’s Agriculture department, since we are in Kentucky, we are part of a community that thrives off our agriculture and horses. UK has a lot of other accomplishments to be proud of but the list would go on forever.

University of Kentucky is a leading research university as well as a land grant institution. However, right now, we're known as the school that sent 5 draft picks to the NBA in the first round!

Well I'd say horses, but that's really just the city. My school is well known for it's medical program. There are eight hospitals on the campus itself. It's one of the top public medical schools in the country. We also have a wonderful library. Additionally, we have the fifth best pharmaceutical school in the nation. More than anything, the University of Kentucky is best known for it's basketball team. With seven national championships, the Big Blue Nation has a basketball legacy reaching back a century. This year, with the Great Wall, we will win again.

My school is best known for Kentucky Basketball. The school thrives around the team.

Mostly the University of Kentucky is known for its winning basketball team. Whereas this is definitely the case, there is more to the university, as one would find if they looked deeper. It's small, but not too small, in fact some of my classes here are smaller than those I had in high school. It's a very proud, respectful, and friendly place to be.

The University of Kentucky is best known for it Pharmacy program. The Pharmacy program and UK ranks top five every year, but besides the Pharmacy program, the Uniersity of Kentucky is very well known for all of it Health Sciences. It has very strong programs in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Physicians Assistant, Physiology, and Medical school. All of these programs are consistently well respected and ranked amoung other universities in the nation.

My school is best known for its athletics. We are the home of the University of Kentucky Wildcats, known for football and basketball, primarily. Secondly, we are known as a school striving to be a Top-20 research institution. Thirdly, we are known for our stance on diversity and how we are striving to be better everyday.

The sports teams at the University of Kentucky are definitely what the school is most well known for, in particular the mens basketball team. After hiring new coach John Calipari and getting some of the nations top recruits, the wildcats have aspirations of yet another national championship to add to their storied legacy. No doubt Coach Calipari has the mens basketball team headed back in the right direction after they failed to make the NCAA tournament last year for the first time in 16 years.
