The most frustrating thing to me is the location of the dormitories. Only one of the dormitories is centralized while the rest lie on the outskirts of the campus. This makes what could be a five minute walk from anywhere on campus to a fifteen minute walk to some classes. During this winter we received an above average amound of snow for Kentucky which made for harsh conditions on the way to class. The university only delayed classes but did not plow many sidewalks. This resulted in slippery and cold paths to classes and upset students.

The most frustrating thing about my school is the lack of communication. People don't talk to each other; they pretend to not see each other so as to avoid confrontation. The upkeep of this causes a lack of personal communication among peers my age all over the country.

Parking for off campus students was difficult becuase you had to make sure you met the shuttle times. It was just more of a hassle then it needed to be.

There is alot of students, and the staff must try to take care of everyone. Because of this, there is a ridiculous amount of bureaucracy. This creates a sense that the staff is impersonal and inflexible.

The most frustrating thing about my schoool is the lack of scholarships and aid available. For those who don't recieve financial aid federally and do not have there parents helping them, there are no scholarships or grants available. Basically it leaves multiple students with massive amounts of loans upon graduation, and I wish there was something the university could do to help that.

The tuition is incredibly high

The most frustrating thing about UofL is the mandatory meal plan and the set up our provider (Sodexo) has provided. There is a good possibility this will be changed soon because of negative student response.

As a returning student, it becomes frustrating when public schools are closed, but the University is still open. It is difficult to bring a child to class due to the walk a young child must do, often in bad weather, to get to a classroom. It is frustrating there is only very limited on campus childcare which is often only available to faculty members. It is frustrating when young children get sick; the ability to obtain a recorded lecture from classmates is extremely difficult.

The most frustrating thing about the University of Louisville is the amount of commuter students. My first choice was the University of Michigan; however, money issues kept me from going to my dream school. Therefore, I had to attend a "commuter school." I wish there was more socialization within the university in order to help meet more and more people.

Probably the most frustrating thing at my school is the difficulty of the classes I'm taking. This semester I'm taking Engineering calculus II, Physics II, Physics Lab II, Chemistry, and Engineering Graphics Fundamentals. It requires a lot of effort score well and maintain a good gpa. It's much harder than high school.

The most frustrating thing about the University of Louisville is that it is a popular commuter school. Most of the students are from Louisville, grew up in Louisville, and went to high school in Louisville. So, all those students start college already having a set group of friends which makes it difficult to meet new people on campus. Alot of students just come to campus for class, hang out with the friends they already have, and then go home after class. I love meeting new people and this aspect of UofL is definitely the most frustrating for me.

The most frustrating thing about University of Louisville is getting started. Understanding their computerized way to register for class and not knowing how much FASA you will get until you register for class. Scheduling appointments, finding baby sitters trying to afford books just so I can improve our life?s as a family. It has been very stressful being a mother of four whose husband works extra hard just to pay the bills and worry about this long drawn out process. That?s what makes going to this school so difficult at this point.

All the extra fees you have to pay that you are even sure what they are or where they are going and the manditory meal plan for commutors.

I think the most frustrating thing about my school is probably the limited food choices. We do have a meal plan however we dont have a cafeteria so we are stuck with fast food choices such as wendy's and subway. there are other areas where we can get a variety of different foods but most of them dont remain open after 2 o'clock in the afternoon and being an student-athlete its hard for me to meet those times. So im limited to what I can eat while still being able to use my meal card.

The finacial aid department is very frustrating to me. The people who work there are nice but there is always a ton of red tape and anything that involved Fin. Aid is guarenteed to take more time than really should be needed.

The most frustrating thing about my school is the amount of exams and the little amount of time given to prepare for them.

The amount of reliance on the internet for discussion, group prjects, communication, and homework.

Because of the large campus size, many students commute. There are not very many campus activities besides that which freshman or students involved in the dorm life get to participate in. It seems like once I am done with classes and studying there is not much else to do on campus. The only social places on campus are the classroom, library, and cafeteria.
