Rich with diversity and welcoming, the University of Maine at Augusta in Bangor is a small, but close-knit school. I felt right at home the moment I walked in the door, and each time I walk in I don't feel out of place or put on the spot. The classes are small, about the size of high school classes, which is nice for anyone who has a fear of large crowds such as myself. The teachers are down to earth and friendly, and they pursue friendly relationships with each student.
The school is accomidating to both traditional and non tradtional students. They offer many services to people, including tutoring and counseling services. There is a wide range of degree and subjects to chose from. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help one another. The campus is located in a very accessable city with many off campus sites for long distance students.
