The University of Mary Hardin Baylor is rich with tradition. Each year the incoming freshman class has a welcome week. Welcome week takes place the week before classes start. During welcome week the freshman class is split into "family" groups, with upper class-man taking responsibilities as leaders. The freshman class grows close to their classmates in this week so when the academic year starts the students in the freshman class already have lasting relationships with their classmates.
UMHB has a 3:1 girl-to-guy ratio.
This school is one of those either you hate it or you love it, there really isn't a grey area. The campus isn't as large and confusing as most campuses are, and the class sizes are small even the classes that everyone is required to take.
It's very religious.
The most unique thing to my school is that it has an incredible amount of school spirit. We are so involoved during every football season and every other big happening on campus
Small enough that no student feels lost. Professors really care!
Its alot smaller, more community based very friendly. They also have a huge emphasis on religion.
