Our school is best known for its sports teams and athletic departments-- basketball, football, intramurals, the list goes on. Our students are very supportive of all of our sports teams. We have student sections that travel across the nation along with our sports teams to cheer them on.

University of Memphis is best known for it's diversity in students. No matter where you came from in life, there is a place and a group of friends waiting for you at U of M. My school is home to the rich, poor, religious, non-religious, athletic or musically talented, the extremely brilliant, and those just trying to better themselves. There are so many organizations and ways to get involved, that anyone who was interested in going to the University of Memphis would find a niche all their own. Not to mention, we have a new student center!
Basketball
My school is best known for its multiracial and multicultural campus and campus activities. There are many opportunities for the student to meet people of different ethnic, cultural and racial backgrounds. Although, the city may sometimes seem culturally seperated by the different districts or counties, the school brings everyone together in a peacefull, organized way where we all get along as one.
MY SCHOOL IS BEST KNOWN FOR HAVING A GREAT CRIMINAL JUSTICE DEPARTMENT.
The University of Memphis is best known for its Basketball and Football Programs. Although our athletics program is known nation wide, academics are as equally important. I believe that the university also has a no pass, no play policy put in place in order to maintain a balance between the athletic program and the students academic performance.
My advice would be to understand that this might be your only opportunity to get it right, so do it right the first time. Don't wast time, because time is precious and time is money. The longer you take to finish school, the more money you will either have to pay or owe. Don't just concentrate on the education part, get experience also. Work an internship in your field of study, because jobs look for both. Don't be afraid to ask for help, utilize your Career Services, Alumni, etc.

law school
The basketball team.
Unfortunately, my school is probably best known for its basketball team. Many people fail to look beyond the athletics to the actual quality of the university. Our business school is probably the most known, and puts its students in the best position to get post-graduation jobs. I would say our journalism department is also up there, considering there are students each year who get jobs and internships around the country. The science department should also be included, because there are many University of Memphis students working at research labs throughout the city, such as St. Jude's Research Hospital.
University of memphis is well known for the incredible basketball team.
TIGER MEN'S BASKETBALL
As of late the basketball team is our most notable aspect.
