We are fit, tan, have money, party a lot, cram for tests, but get good grades.
The stereotype is that we are all rich, party animals that somehow pull out A's in our classes. This is true for a majority but not all the students here.
The stereotype at UM is rich kids who love to flaunt their money, hard core partiers, and people who essentially live at the beach and pool to tan.
The overall stereotype of students at UM is that we are all, excluding the athletes, rich party animals who still know how to succeed in academics after a night you may not remember.
Rich and snobby. We also have a rep for being heavy drinkers/partiers
The sterotypes that exist about Miami students are that they are rich, stuck up, and arrogant. It is also known as being a huge party school.
fun-loving, environmentally aware, beach, wealthy, good-looking, drinkers, smart
lots of jewish new yorkers, new jerseyers, and long islanders... greek life is not a main focus lots of distractions - beach and partying is south beach
Upper Class people. Lots of Jews. Hot Girls. Snobby People
A line from the movie "Farce of the Penguins" sums up almost everything I've heard said about Miami students, "...all you need is a six-pack, a bong, a 1.7 to get in..."
Party school. Rich Kids. Nice Cars.
rich snobs with daddy's bank account paying for everything
The biggest stereotype about UMiami is that all of the students are rich and overly materialistic. Yes, this is true of some students here, but I think it would be impossible to find a school where there are not some students like that.
