When you step off campus what do you see?

A suburban town. Anything you could possibly need is within walking distance. Multiple pizza places, an outdoor mall with everything from Aeropostale to NikeTown to Buffalo Wild Wings, CVS, Publix, and plenty of places to eat both take out and dine in. There is a metrorail that can take you south to a Target, Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond and Dadeland Mall, and north into Brickell if you want to transfer to the Key Biscayne bus or even more north to get into downtown Miami. Within walking distance is a natural rock pool with waterfalls and caves.

Although UM is in Miami, it is closely right next to Coral Gables. Coral Gables is a wealthy, very beautiful neighborhood. However, Downtown Miami is only a 30 minute drive, if-even, and South Beach is about a 45 minute drive.
