The best aspect of this school is tha amount of opportunities and activities available. If you are bored on the weekend, or want more friends there is a vast array of clubs that you can join that all have amazing activities. Additionally, there are so many research and job oppportunities on and around campus that are availabl to you as a student and when you graduate. There are so many students, teachers, advisor, and counselors that are always ready to help you and assist your college goals. There are also amazing travel and study abroad programs.

The best thing about the University of Miami is the abundance of opportunities available during your time at the University and when you graduate. As a freshman, I have many great opportunities, including internships and traveling experiences. This abundance of opportunities is the best thing about the University because you won't get out of college without a job or internship.

The location, staff, and students at Miami make it so amazing.

Huge lake right in the middle, bar on campus, all classroom hallways are outdoors, all buildings look very different, great vegetation.

The wildlife and the weather! The weather can be unpredictable but amazing!

We have a wide variety of events that are coordinated by our President Donna Shalala. These events are just some of the things that I consider to be unique to University of Miami. Some of these events include presidential debates (John Kerry vs. George Bush), visits by the Dalai Llama. UM was also the location of last year's CGIU (Clinton Global Initiative University) which featured talks from Bill Clinton.

The location and the climate. I personally dont like cold climates, so at Miami I feel at home. It is sunny and warm. The beach is just minutes away.

University of Miami had a very strong culture of success. I have found that few organizations have such a strong culture of success as the University of Miami. The professors expected you to be successful; fellow students expected you to be successful; and thus, you expected yourself to be successful.

The best thing about the University of Miami would fall under the fields of great student-teacher relation and a vast array of opportunistic resources for ambitious students looking to attain memorable experiences in life. I was lucky to take part in an opportunity on this campus; EMT-B training courses. It was a program that was posted at University of Miami only accepting up to 24 students. I am grateful to have experienced riding in the back of a fire rescue and see how real people living in poverty live like. It was a very moving experience.

The best thing about my school is the location. It is close to everything you could possibly want. I can go to the beach, upscale shopping, or downtown Miami very easily. Also, I love the school spirit. Everyone who goes to the U is passionate about it and loves to display their school pride. I enjoy being a part of that.

My favorite thing about my school is its cultural diversity. I have met people from all over the world. Everywhere you turn people are speaking a different language, it's amazing. Also, no matter where everyone is from, there is a strong sense of school pride in everyone, so much spirit.

I think the best thing about the school is the environment. I believe that for undergraduate education so much of the educating can be very simple from school to school. However, the environment we are in spawns more interest in school because you are constantly surrounded by beauty and don't feel the need to try to go find it, you find it on your way to class.

the best thing about the U is that you can do whatever it is you put your mind to. Miami is a very diverse place that is extremely receptive to new ideas, both in and outside the classroom. If you want to start a new club, conduct your own undergrad research project, even start your own business, the U is big enough to have tons of resources for you to utilize, and small enough for you to get individual attention and for the campus to have a real sense of community.

The location becuase it encourages students to get out of bed.

I BELEIVE THE BEST THING ABOUT MY SCHOOL DEFINATELY HAS TO BE THE ACADEMICS. THE GRADUATION RATE IS MORE THAN 70 PERCENT AND THE HELP FROM ALL OF THE ADVISORS, ADMI NISTRATION, AND FACULY IS UNBELIEVABLE. I WAS SCARED AT FIRST TO BE MAKING SUCH A DRASTIC CHANGE IN TRANSFERING SCHOOLS ONCE I COMPLETED MY ASSOCIATES DEGREE BUT I HAVE NEVER FELT SO HONORE AND EXCITED TO BE MAKING THIS GREAT CHANGE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI. THE CAMPUS, THE PEOPLE AND THE ACADEMICS IS THE GREATES AND I BELIEVE I WILL SUCCED IN MY DREAM OF BECOMING A DOCTOR.

The best thing about the University of Miami in my opinion is the amazing weather. I grew up in upstate NY where the weather is awful and I know how hard it is to get yourself up and going everyday when the weather outside sucks. Being in Miami where the sun is always shining makes it much easier to go about my day happily =)!

My school provides me with lots of resources to accelerate in my career choice. UM is considering one of the best schools because of the teachers that teach at our school and how much school sprit everyone has here. There are so many clubs and volunteer opportunity here, that way I can get a better outlook of what?s out there in terms of careers and life. UM helps anyone in need if it?s for financial aid or health support they are there to help. I consider my school the best.

The diversity! It really opens your eyes to different races and cultures which in turn makes you a well rounded person by the time you graduate with all of the interaction on campus. You will learn about all different cultures in one place than traveling around the world!

One of the university's strong points is the general willingness of professors to allow students to conduct research in their labs. I have been able to work in three different labs during my fours years at the University of Miami and have gained invaluable experience in each lab. Academic advisors often help students with obtaining a place in a lab by recommending researchers with similar interests to the student and by informing students of research opportunities.

The best thing is how it is preparing me for th future. I know that once I graduate I will be able to find a job and people will want to hire me due to where I attended college. They know I will have to knowledge and experience to do well.

There are numerous opportunities for students to find internships or an extra-cirricular activity on campus. There are enough students here to reach out and be cuturally diverse if you wish to do so. There are a exceptional amount of teacher that are down to earth and really enjoy seeing their students be successful. There is a suprising amount of school spirit here and it can be seen through faculty, staff and students daily.

It provides such a diverse environment that I wouldn't have gotten at home. We have so many international students plus locals from Miami who are of all different races. Everyone here seems to be billingual.

The best thing about the University of Miami is that is very academically challenging but there are so many things to do socially as well. The city is very alive and people tend to be very friendly.

The best thing about my school is the social aspects of the college experience. There are so many things to do, you'll never be bored. The great thing about this institution also has to do with the amount of diversity it provides. Coming from Indiana, I have had a moderate exposure to different things, but not nearly as much as I have experienced here in less than a year and a half. This creates opportunity. Opportunity to help develop various social skills for the real world including furthering your own career.

The best things about this school are the weather, the landscape, the buses, and the availability of things to do late at night.

The environment: it is beautiful. The campus is a cheerful place to be and most of the students seem happy.

Perfect Size, gorgeous weather and facilities, great nightlife with clubs, bars, parties etc....It's the perfect enviroment with a medium size school located on a small campus but with all of the offerings of a big city like Miami.

I think the cweather, the class sizes, the faculty, the way they make you feel at home. Professors are always willing to help and they really know what they are talking about.

I love that the proffesors are nationally known for their fields, and they all seem to love teaching as well. It makes school very interesting and professional feeling, and it doesn't feel like a continuation of highschool.

i love the friends that i have met. I believe i will have them for life.
