The best thing about The University of Michigan Dearborn campass is the proud spirit of everyone in achieving their life long goals here. I't helps me look foward to my upcoming years here, the knowledge I will gain from the professors and students and to be a part of this awesome University is in it's self amazing.
The University of Michigan-Dearborn is a really good school. It has the prestige of the University of Michigan name, but unlike the Ann Arbor and Flint campuses at the Dearborn campus all of the classes are taught by well-qualified professors as opposed to graduate students. The professors have impressive backgrounds and any student who applies herself can really learn a lot.
The classes aren't too large and learning is strongly emphasized.
It is academically oriented and focuses on placing its graduates into reputable companies.
U-M Dearborn has a wide variety of demographics. It caters to all walks of life. Many of UMD's students are older - people who have families or full-time jobs - or both! This means that, for the most part, the students at UMD are more serious about their education. They provide a higher level of competition and collaboration that can be hard to find elsewhere. Plus, it is easier to relate to your fellow students when they are in similar situations.
Because U-Md is smaller than the Ann Arbor campus, you get more personal attention. If you are a good student, you stand out more, where as at a larger school everyone will be good students and you will simply be a face and a name to professors.
community life, lots of place to sit down and study. People are diverse, there for the right reasons.
