University of Minnesota-Duluth Top Questions

It's rural-like setting. The beautiful Lake Superior. The medical school lthat focuses on rural medicine. Its scenery.

UMD is known most for its science programs. Especially biology. It prepares its students for future careers in the medical field or various other fields. Also UMD has a medical school along with many graduate school options right on campus.

Hockey

UMD is best known for the great lake it is near. You can see Lake Superior from most of the school. Also our football team is undefeated champions for the year 2010. Go Bulldogs! UMD also offers indor tunnels and skyways so that you don't have to walk outside in the pleasently cold winter. Over all UMD is a great people for the unique, smart, athletic and eccentric people.

It is a small state school with many good science degrees. We are also known for our tunnel connected buildings!

I feel like the University of Minnesota Duluth is a big school that feels like it's a part of the community. With Lake Superior and other resources close, UMD takes advantage of them. Although it is a University school, the campus feels like it's smaller than that, in a good way.

UMD does very well at making the entire school handicap accessible. UMD has a fantastic library with top of the line equiptment. I spend most of my time studying there.

Good business and engineering schools. As well as a good D-1 hockey team

I think it is centered around athletics alot. Our football team did really good last year. We were the champions.

We are best known for being a huge party school and a D1 Men's & Women's Hockey program.

My school is best known for our outdoor activities and all indoor campus. We have a division 1 hockey team that is always competative on the national level and our division two football team just won the national championship. It gets pretty cold in Duluth, Minnesota, but UMD has compensated for this by making every single building on campus connected so you never have to go outside. UMD is always adding new buildings and we have many new facilities that are very very nice.
