University of Minnesota-Morris Top Questions

students who want a large campus, or those who can't handle below-zero winter weather. it does get very cold here, as low as -10F, with windchills below -30F. the campus is about 3000 students at most, and the town has a population of 4000, not including students.

People who like the go out or have a lot of available options for things to do wouldn't like the kind of atmosphere Morris provides.

It might not be the main University of Minnesota, but it is definitally not a school where you can get away with never doing any work. UMM requires dedication, class attendance, and hard work. UMM does not offer atheletic scholarships, and that could be a key point in defining where you go to school. I've also been told the pre-nurse program is not as strong as other programs offered at UMM.

You really shouldn't attend this school if you litter or don't want to work hard. Not only is this school very energy efficient, it has very high academic standards. If you aren't really, really dedicated, don't bother showing up.

Someone who loves being in a big city, and someone who does not like to be in a place with very little to do on the weekend should not attend the University of Minnesota in Morris.
