The best thing about my school is the diversity and friendly environment. It is very easy to make friends and easy access to get help with classes. The students and professors are willing to help you.

I believe that the amount of school spirit is one of the best things about the University of Missouri. Everyone at the University of Missouri is proud to be here and has a lot of pride in the school. Alumni from many years ago still have that same spirit and pride and it connects the students of today with the alumni.

the academics are great and there are a huge variety of majors

My school makes it extremely easy to get involved--there are activity fairs and outreach opportunities for every student ogranization on campus. I transferred to MU from a different four year university that had a very closed off student organization program. Here at MU, I am in a sorority and two other campus organizations within my major.

The best thing about my school is probably the environment where the school is situated. Columbia is a great college town. There is a lot of school spirit, and the town has many shops and things to do, whether that is getting ice cream, seeing a movie, getting a slice of pizza, or visiting one of the many unique stores.

Based on my first year of college, I can honestly say people at the University of Missouri are very helpful in an academic since. We actually have a student health center devoted directly to student learning. There are professors, graduate students, and other university affiliates that are their waiting for you to come ask for help. University of Missouri Recreaction Center is the top in the country with world class pool(s) and workout facilities with over 50 flat screen televisions. Not only does this promote a healthy campus but it provides a way for students to meet each other.

The journalism school is competitive and forces you to do your best.

The teaching style is still engaged even though most classes are rather large. The facilities are also extrememly nice, and the ones that are not are currently being rennovated. The campus layout is also nicely done, with students easily able to access the downtown area and off-campus housing.

The amount of school spirit at Mizzou is amazing. I never had much school spirit in high school, but now I am a proud Tiger. I really feel as if I belong to a community at Mizzou.

The school of natrual reoures. This is because this school on campus dose so much for everyone in it. It opens up doors to the students that they coldn't get before. All the professors are there to help out and get you where you need to be.

The research based teaching

Columbia is a great town to live in. Mizzou is a pretty fun place. Football games, downtown nightlife, and social acitivites are great.

I think the best thing about my school is the opprotunity to learn in your field of interest. Companies in the surrounding areas are really excited to help out students in learning to be involved in the community and to get real life practice.

It is so big. There is something for everyone. We have so many small clubs that you can be a part of, and then we have large, well-known clubs that you can join. The thing about Mizzou is that you get what you put into it. If you want a fun time socially, you can. If you want a very studious 4 years, it is attainable, as well.

Great people who really care about eachother. Great availability of fun things to do. School sponsored FREE events like movies, craft nights, cultual events, holiday things (halloween/ holiday type stuff/ Chinese New year/ Mardi Gras)

The best thing about my school is the faculty for the School of Health Professions. They truly care about every student and really take the time to get to know you. They feel like my family away from home and I can talk to them about anything.

I enjoy the balance between social life and academics. The profs understand not studying 24/7 but still push very hard on academics.

The best thing about my school is all the opportunities that every student has to get involved. There is something for everyone to do and some more than just one to join.

There's a lot to do on campus, so being bored typically isn't an option. The school is overly spirited when it comes to sports. We love football.

The campus is great and there are a wide variety of majors.

There are a million things to do, both academically and during your free time. There are tons of different classes and majors, and there are also many different things you can get involved in when your not going to class. It gives students lots of opportunities to find what job best fits them, and it also allows us to learn about new things.

Prepared me well for college

Mizzou has some very talented teachers in their humanities education programs. One of my English teachers is a nationally renowned Shakespeare scholar. He's teaching my Shakespeare class this semester. Two of my philosophy teachers are internationally acclaimed, one a Kant scholar and the other an aesthetics essayist. I am very lucky to have had the opportunity to have such high-caliber, experienced, and respected teachers here.

The town it is in is the most progressive liberal town in Missouri.

Mizzou is well known and it has a very good education progam.

It's got a lot of great facilities. The buildings are nice, and the school maintains the campus well.

The best thing about this school is the Journalism program.

The school of business. It is great at preping students for careers. Has a great staff with teachers that have real world expirence. It also has an awsome career services program that makes finding a job very easy.

Being in a college town that isn't too big and isn't too little

I feel that the best part of my school was the degree choices. The University of Missouri had exactly the kind of degree program that would help me receive a good job after school.

There is always something to do no matter who you are. If you are an athlete, the rec center is huge and the sports available are almost endless it seems. There are a ton of clubs, study group opportunities, and research opportunities. Also whether you drink alcohol or not does not dictate if you will have fun or not. There is also a large greek presence on the campus which always means a party somewhere.
