There are several student activities and groups for students to participate in. The most popular activities and groups are the ones that you're a part of. No activity or groups is better than the next, you just have to find the ones that interest you the most. I'm currently involved within different groups for my major, writing for magazines, websites, and newspapers. It is what I prefer to do, and I absolutely love it. Most of the time you just have to find yourself. It is easy get along with anyone on campus, just with conversation. A lot of students that stay in the dorms for example, tend to leave their doors open for friends to come in and introduce themselves and familiarize their self with other individuals. This leads to open conversations about different events, from parties to sports games on and off campus, to stepping events by fraternities to movie nights in the Student Union. These events normally lead to people getting into intimate relationships with others because they connect with similar interests. Some interests may be a traditional event that occurs each year like when a fraternity throws a step-show and an after-party with surprise guests. The fraternities and sororities are very important because they normally have information about the upcoming events.
