The type of person that shouldn't attend this school is one who wants to party a lot and wants to go to a busy city, because after a semester Kansas City gets pretty boring.
Some one who is into the urban architecture. Students who are looking into dental, nursing, or a medical program should attend this school.
Everyone should attend this school, it would be a good fit for pretty much anybody, with any interest. It's an urban setting school.
Someone who should not attend this school would probably be someone who does not enjoy the inner city because it makes up a significant portion of your lifestyle attending UMKC. As far as the academics at the school, I would recommend it for anyone. It is a perfect sized school, and almost everyone can relate to it in someway.
A person who should not attend this school is someone who does not enjoy meeting new people. If Unable or unwilling to become involved this is not the place for you. Also, if you are affaid of a challenge and hardwork do not attend.
Any person should come to this school. It is a great evnvironment, and they help show you the path to success. If you are an unmotivated person, when you come to UMKC, you will see life in a new light!
When I first attended UMKC, I was not prepared. I was at school for the wrong reasons. I was there for the social experience, when I should have been there to learn. I was more concerned about girls, parties, and campus activities. I lost track of my time management. My grades took a terrible downward spiral. If I could give advice to prospective students of UMKC, I would tell them, "Don't come here to party. If you're not here to learn, then you're going to fail. Have your priorities in order."
Anyone can attend this school. Those who do not have a goal in life should not bother wasting their time, because school is expensive and valuable and not worth a reason to waste.
A person who wants a heavy liberal arts education probably shouldn't attend this school. The liberal arts departments aren't bad by any means, but this is a very science and health heavy school.
You should be very outgoing but very motivated. You need to know what you want and be willing to work hard to get it.
A person intimidated by social people, moderate to liberal beliefs, and a little fun on the weekends shouldn't attend this school.
People who dont take college at least semi seriously.
People that have problems with other races or relegions.
Anyone can attend this school!
Someone who is really into college sports!! UMKC doesn't even have a football team!
