The teahers at University Missouri Saint Louis are very helpful and nice about taking that extra mile to make sure that you understand what it is that you need to know for the real world. There academic status is very great because sometimes when a student may change their mind about a certain major. This school has a department just for that, so students will not feel lost. Students can easily transfer their credits and begin another path for their career.

For great choices, great staff, and friendly, intelligent students. The campus is large, beatiful, and filled with plants and greenery. People are kind and helpful, there are so many reasources, and a lot to learn.

Touhill performing arts theatre, which is well known in the city. Their International Business department is excellent, one of the top in the nation, and their graduate Criminal Justice is well-known as well.. Most of the students at UMSL tend to reside in the St. Louis area after graduation, thus locating jobs in the city and giving back to the economy of St. Louis.

I think we're more known for the great programs we have. Theres just so many oppurrtunities to get involved in so many things and the residential life progrm is EXCELLENT!

We are known for many things, one of which is our world wide acknowledged Optometry school, and our national rankning Nursing and Education departments. Not only are we known for our academia, but also the students that participate in them. We are one of the most highly diversified shools in the country, I believe that this has helped our students have a tighter grasp on social issues around the world. Also, within our classes we have the privilage to hear arguments from all various differing backgrounds, which is an educational gift that many students are denied.

It might have increased in recent years due to a new residence hall being built, but it's still mainly a small university. Our Honors College is also pretty well known, and attracts people as far as Oregon.
