If you are financially conscious and responsible, I strongly recommend this school. Especially Engineering majors, you will get quality education for a lot less then most colleges and very supportive team of students and faculty.

A person who wants to get a good education while saving money should attend this school.

To be successful in the BSN program the student needs to be very self motivated. Classes are very demanding as far as time and material. The BSN program is different than most programs because you are in class for three hours at a time, and generally you start class at 8am and are in class until 4pm with only a lunch break. The days you are not on campus you have clinicals in the hospital.

The kind of person that should attend UMSL is very independent. I transferred in from another school where counselors, mentors, etc were very close nit. I did not get the close nit feeling at UMSL. This was good for me since I am very independent and tend to not ask for help unless I need it. I felt like there was less prying.

To attend the University of Missiouri- St. Louis, you must be hard working. You have to be willing to devote a lot of your time to studying and doing research to keep up with the material. Most people who truely have an interest in the subject they are studying, have an easier time with the work-load.

The kind of person, who should attend this school is someone who is prepared to be a very hard worker, attentive, open-minded, and just eager to learn. Also being communicative and responsible, are great characterisitics to have to go to this school. Learning to network and understand how college life is, can be a very helpful tip to require. Just being honest and do the best you can are always some factors to posses when going to a university like this one. Having a positiive attitude and trust yourself will also be a very great tool.
