University of Mount Union Top Questions

Whats unique about Mount Union is the pride we take in our sporting events. Our football team is very very good and we love to come out every Saturday afternoon and support these boys. Its neat to also know these boys and see them participating in classes and getting an education along with being an athlete.

This school offers a lot of opportunities from organizations to clubs and groups.

When I was first considdering colleges to apply for, I was looking for schools that offered music education degrees, that were close to home, smaller in size, and had well taken care of facilities. I was able to find all of these qualities here at Mount Union. Throughout the time I've been a student at this school, I've made wonderful friends, got married, and changed my major. Everyone here has been and still are extremely supportive.

The professors within each major have a very personal relationship with their students. Some of them invite students to dinner at their homes for study sessions and will form lasting professional relationships with their students

The University of Mount Union is unique in many ways. First, when looking at colleges I wanted a campus that was small. I like having a small class size becuase not only are the students more recognized but it is also easier to grasp some subjects with more one-on-one teaching. Also, Mount Union offers First Year Experience for freshman. Our first semester we had two or three of our classes with the same students and had the opportunity to get to know them well. For students in this program there were a variety of planned activities weekly.

Mount Union just has a feel to it that no words can describe. I saw it at a college fair in high school and I just knew it was the school for me.

Many things are unique about Mount Union, the the first thing that comes to mind is we are an entirely green campus. Everything on camus is biodegradable and we try to conserve as much energy as possible. Another reason Mount Union is unique to the other schools I considered attending is how small the campus is. I considered many other schools that were a lot larger and when I was at Mount Union I felt that I wouldn't get lost and that I would be safe on that campus.

The feeling I got when I came to visit. I only visited one other school because as soon as I visited Mount Union I knew I wanted to come here. It just felt right.

Our school is very economically friendly. We have a very "go green" campus philosphy. We are very grateful to be given such a nice place to learn so we give back by keeping it clean and respectable. Also, our school is known for its friendly atmosphere. Anytime someone walks past you it is almost a rule that you must address the invidual and say hi. I think this gives it a homey feel and it also makes it more inviting to newcomers. Mount Union College is a welcoming place to be and everyone strives to make others feel wanted.

Mount Union is a small college that allows for personal interaction with professors and other students. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help. You have the ability to get involved in various organizations and to get close with a wide range of students. Mount Union is also very academically driven; I knew that I would get a great education here and I also knew that my major would better prepare me for graduate school or a career.
