Additionally, the University of Nevada, Reno has a large percentage of adult students among the enrolled population. Working with other students who also struggle to balance work and an education creates a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

Students at the University of Nevada, Reno are very goal orientated. The majority of the students here love to be involved in extracurricular activies like sports or hiking. Students at our university tipically have a very happy and optimistic outlook on life. Our campus is social, friendly and determined. The beatiful surroundings of our campus provide excellent oppurtunities for outdoor adventures in all four distinct seasons. Our georgeous campus promotes respect for the environment, and most students have a passion for keeping it green. Many students here have unique and realistic aspirations to change and better the world around them.

For the last year and a half I have been attending Western Nevada College taking online courses because I was working full time, so I never met any of my classmates. This semester I will be going to classes for the first time since high school and I look forward to making friends with people who have the same interests as me.
