The campus is very diverse and I do not believe that the school really fits within any particular stereotype other then being a school very prideful of being the best learning institution in the state of Nevada.
i dont really care about the stereotype at my school because everyone is equal anyways. They respect each other and not bothering someone else's space so, it's pretty good so far
There is a stereotype that the students at UNR are all athletes! It's not! There are a lot of student athletes and it's amazing to go to a school that's actually good at sports. But, there are a lot of other types of students!
One of the best things about UNR is that students are not stereotyped. Many of the students are local, first generation students thanks to an in state scholarship program. This year, however, saw the biggest freshman class ever and new dorms are being built to accomodate this influx of students. There are pleanty of opportunities for all kinds of students. We have a diverse selection of fraternities and sororities, healthy sports rivalrys, a strong art program, etc.
