The most frustrating thing about my school may be some of the advisors. In the past I have had some confusion with advice given by different advisors for my major and minor.

The most frustrating thing about WNC was how difficult it was to get ahold of teachers and not being able to sit in a classroom and listen to lectures. But again, I was in online courses.

The people who underestimate the education that people recieve at UNR are the most frustrating.

The parking situation on campus could use a face lift. Students find themselves hiking to and from class due to the fact that they either can't afford a pricey parking pass on campus to begin with; or they have a parking pass for a garage north of campus. The parking services employees roam campus ready to give a $15 parking ticket at a moment?s notice. Additionally, parking anywhere near campus is very tricky due to the zoning that has taken place, causing even those living near campus to acquire passes to park in front of their own home.

For people like me, the most frustrating part of UNR is deciding what to major in, because there are so many good choices.

The most frustrating thing about my school is when the only professor available for a required course is not trained in teaching and good practices to help students learn. Usually in my field of engineering, they are highly intelligent people who have a hard time teaching others what they already know.

Honestly, its frustrating not having more hours in a day. There is so much to do on campus and around it. UNR has over 200 clubs recognized by our student government and they range from just for fun clubs (like Taco Tuesday Club) to academically inclined clubs like Pre-Med club. There are always performances by various artists and students, activities other clubs conduct and Lake Tahoe and ski resorts a 30 minute drive away. There are seriously too many things to do with so little time.

The new student union and knowledge center (aka library) are too far away from the main part of campus. This makes it kind of a hassel to go from there to class.

The most frustrating thing about the University of Nevada-Reno would be the availability and the enforcement of parking violations. The tickets are too much and the enforcement is way too harsh.

Not all of the upper-division electives are offered every semester; sometimes, you have to wait a semester or two to get into a class you might want or need, which may throw up a 4-year graduation target-time.

The semesters, they're too long. I prefer quarters over semesters. There is more variety and if you miss a class than you have more opportunity to take it in the next quarter than wait a whole year to take it.

I love my school. The students are very academically focused and everyone is friendly. We have great school spirit. Plus, I have educated and helpful professors who enjoy teaching. There isn't anything frustrating about my school.

There are not very many businesses that are college oriented. The main focus of Reno is the Casions and not the college. This is not the best place if you are looking for a college town environment.

It is hard to get to know new people. Most of the students come to this school with their friends from highschool and only socialize within their click.

The most frustrating thing I would say is paying for the books. But that's with all the other schools, book prices are extremely high and when it's sold back in great condition you only get so little back.

Right now the most frustrating thing about the University of Nevada, Reno is the budget cuts. They are having to eliminate extracurricular activites or charge students more to be involved in them. They are also raising tuition which makes financial aid all the more important to students coming here and working their way through college as I am. I hope that we are able to gain control over this situation so that we can offer more to students rather than less.

The location, I don't like the fact that they built all of the hotels near the campus. Downtown is dirty and I often feel unsafe walking around there. The campus is beautiful and much safer. It would be great if the surrounding city was like the campus. Also, the current budget cuts are affecting a lot of the students, especially those in clubs or people who have on-campus jobs. It's not the school's fault, but it was very frustrating when I had to quit my job as a Volleyball Manager because they had insufficient funds.

The most frustrating thing about my school is that there are a variety of activities to participate in, but some activities are scheduled at the same time, which makes getting involved in some extracurriculars difficult.
